Job Summary

This Senior Brand Manager role at Unilever in Bangkok involves leading the development and implementation of brand marketing plans. Must Have

  • Lead the development and implementation of Brand Marketing Plans.
  • Drive innovation, activation, advertising, and promotion.
  • Responsible for product launches, customer sell-in, and legal/regulatory issues.
  • Manage brand budget and P&L to drive growth and profitability.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of consumer, category, channel, and competitive information.
  • Build productive working relationships with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Provide input to volume forecasting and financial updates.
  • 3-5 years' experience in brand/product management/marketing (FMCG).
  • Strong presentation, communication, and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of communication development, media planning process, public relations, and e-commerce.
  • Good with numbers (sales analysis, P&L, budgeting) and strategy development experience.
  • Experience in managing relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional task forces and working with external agencies.
  • Excellent English language communicator and fluent in Thai language.

Good to Have

  • Knowledge on Home Care products.
  • Experience in social first marketing.

Job Description

Main Responsibilities

  • Leads the development of the Brand Marketing Plan.
  • Leads a multifunctional team to implement plan in the market place and monitors performance of the support plans.
  • Lead in innovation, activation, advertising and promotion for deployment of Brand Marketing Plan.
  • Responsible for launch and network management (innovation, relaunch product, market development and saving project), building launch plans, customer sell-in and legal & regulatory issues and managing brand budget.
  • Responsible for brand P&L to help drive growth & profitability of the brand.
  • Lead in on-going analysis and review of consumer, category, channel/customer and competitive information as part of a situation assessment on brand performance and identify growth opportunity.
  • Builds productive working relationship with cross functionals: sales team, trade marketing team, CMI, regional category team, finance, and supply chain to manage brand’s day to day operations, and external partners and agencies.
  • Provide input to volume forecasting, financial updates and monitors key indicators and drivers of brand performance (6Ps). Recommend solutions and implement improvements to meet annual targets.

Candidate Criteria

Experience & Qualification

  • 3-5 years' experience in brand/product management/marketing (FMCG)
  • Strong presentation, communication & project management skill
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge on communication development, media planning process, public relations & e-commerce
  • Good with numbers (sales analysis, knowledge of P&L, budgeting) and has experience in strategy development
  • Experience in managing relationships with a variety of stakeholders – both internal and external partners
  • Experience in leading an internal cross functional task force and working with external agencies
  • An excellent English language communicator with senior stakeholders and peers (conversational and presentational). Fluent in Thai language
  • Knowledge on Home Care products & social first marketing will be added advantage
