At Mistplay, we have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Senior Data Analytics Engineer to join our dynamic Enterprise & Growth Analytics team. This role plays a crucial part in leveraging data to enhance our business performance through strategic insights and data products. That person will work in partnership with our Marketing / User Acquisition (UA), Commercial and Finance teams.
What you'll do at Mistplay:
Leverage your expertise in quantitative modeling to solve business problems and improve how teams operate
Build and maintain data pipelines that support efficient and reliable analytics across the organization
Enhance decision-making by creating and maintaining BI dashboards and reports that provide clear, actionable insights
Stay curious and continuously look for ways to improve through testing hypotheses and validating their impact
Live at the intersection of business and technical teams by connecting the dots and ensuring smooth collaboration
Voice business needs to data engineering and help stakeholders understand complex data concepts in a clear way
You will lead our marketing & commercial data infrastructure revamp process from end-to-end. This includes:
Unified Pipelines Development: Combine an array of different data sources into a simplified set of pipelines. You will model data sources with complex relationships and optimize processes. You will ensure to deliver scalable, clear and accurate code, in line with modern data standards.
Consolidate Data Products and Processes: Map the team’s data products & processes with the objective of reducing duplication, standardizing metrics and streamlining operations of the analytics.
Project management: Manage the project which includes stakeholder management, deliverable schedule and planning, and data governance.
What you bring to Mistplay:
3-7 years of experience in the tech or other data-rich industry, bringing expertise in data science, analytics, or business intelligence roles.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline will be advantageous.
Practical knowledge of SQL, Python, BI tools and Statistics. Experience with dbt and Data Engineering tools is considered an asset.
Ability to synthesize and communicate complex concepts and analyses to a wide range of technical and non-technical audiences.
