Job Summary

SurveyMonkey is seeking a seasoned, proactive Senior Executive Assistant to support their Chief Product Officer. The role requires 5+ years of high-level executive support experience, ideally within a finance or high-growth tech environment. Key responsibilities include calendar and task management, preparing communications, coordinating meetings and events, supporting special projects, administrative excellence, and building relationships. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced settings, anticipates needs, and demonstrates strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and discretion.

Must Have

  • Own the Chief Product Officer’s calendar and key priorities, ensuring alignment with quarterly business and planning cycles.
  • Prepare and manage external communications, meeting invites, and presentation materials with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Plan and execute Product and Design team meetings, off-sites, and all-hands sessions—own agendas, notes, follow-ups, and presentation development.
  • Lead or support special projects as assigned by the Chief Product Officer, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
  • Handle expense reporting, sensitive correspondence, and manage the PXO wiki space and team documentation.
  • Serve as a key liaison between internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth, timely collaboration.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting senior executives.
  • Advanced proficiency in calendar management and presentation tools (e.g. Google Workspace).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal—clear, concise, and professional.
  • A high degree of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.

Good to Have

  • 3+ years in a tech environment, specifically in a Product organization.
  • Additional experience collaborating with Go-to-Market (GTM) teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Customer Success).
  • Strong interest in the SurveyMonkey product and a desire to deepen your understanding of business.
  • Strong preference for candidates based in or aligned with the Pacific Time Zone (PST).

You should have 5+ years of experience in high-level executive support, ideally within a finance or high-growth tech environment. You thrive in fast-paced settings, anticipate needs before they arise, and bring a “how can I help?” attitude. You’re detail-oriented, collaborative, and know how to manage shifting priorities with poise. Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and discretion with sensitive information are essential.

What you’ll be working on

  • Calendar & Task Management: Own the Chief Product Officer’s calendar and key priorities, ensuring alignment with quarterly business and planning cycles.
  • Communication & Materials: Prepare and manage external communications, meeting invites, and presentation materials with accuracy and confidentiality.

We’d love to hear from people with

  • 5+ years of experience supporting senior executives; 3+ years in a tech environment, specifically in a Product organization. Additional experience collaborating with Go-to-Market (GTM) teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Customer Success) preferred.
  • Strong interest in the SurveyMonkey product and a desire to deepen your understanding of business.
  • Advanced proficiency in calendar management and presentation tools (e.g. Google Workspace); ability to manage complex schedules and logistics.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal—clear, concise, and professional.
  • A high degree of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
  • Strong preference for candidates based in or aligned with the Pacific Time Zone (PST).

The base pay provided for this position ranges from $114,750 / year - $155,250 / year depending on the geographic market and assuming a full-time schedule. Actual base pay is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education or training, skills, and experience. Bonuses and commissions may also be offered as part of the total compensation package, in addition to a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; paid holidays; paid time off; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
