Trend Micro is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to join the Americas HRBP team, acting as a trusted advisor to Sales client groups in the US and Canada. This role focuses on aligning people strategies with business objectives, leveraging people analytics for insights on sales productivity and engagement. The HRBP will coach leaders on performance management, drive organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategies to enable revenue growth. Responsibilities include managing employee relations, coordinating performance and succession planning, and building knowledge of local labor market trends to attract and retain top talent, fostering an inclusive culture of growth and transformation.

Must Have:
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Sales leaders, aligning people strategies with business objectives.
  • Leverage people analytics to provide insights on sales productivity, attrition, and engagement.
  • Coach leaders on performance management, feedback, and career pathing.
  • Partner with Sales and HR leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategies.
  • Manage activities for workforce planning, performance management, learning and development, compensation, and employee relations.
  • Manage employee relations issues within client groups.
  • Coordinate performance management and succession planning initiatives.
  • Build knowledge of local labor market trends to attract and retain top talent.
  • 7+ years progressive HR experience, with 5+ years as an HR Business Partner.
  • Experience supporting sales client groups.
  • Working knowledge of US and Canadian employment law.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in HR Information Systems (Workday preferred).
  • Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel and PPT.
  • Fosters and promotes a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Available for occasional off-hours virtual meetings with global colleagues.

Trend Micro is searching for a candidate to join the Americas Human Resources Business Partner team. The Sr. Human Resources Business Partner will act as a trusted advisor to our Sales client groups in the United States and Canada. The focus of this role is to assess, guide and positively influence the business. Our HRBPs are proactive communicators and change agents, who can successfully balance employee needs with business objectives to create integrated solutions that drive our results forward.

The Sr. Human Resources Business Partner role provides strategic and tactical support, management consultation and employee relations services in the Americas Region. This position offers a hybrid schedule with at least 3 days a week in-office at our Las Colinas, Texas site.

What you will do:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to Sales leaders, aligning people strategies with business objectives in a fast-paced technology environment.
  • Leverage people analytics to provide insights on sales productivity, quota attainment, attrition, and engagement, driving data-informed decisions.
  • Coach leaders on performance management, feedback, and career pathing to drive high-performance culture in quota-bearing and GTM functions.
  • Partner with Sales and HR leaders to drive organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategies that enable revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Manage activities associated with workforce planning, performance management, learning and development, compensation, and employee relations.
  • Manage employee relations issues in your client group.
  • Coordinate performance management and succession planning initiatives.
  • Build knowledge of local labor market trends and coach managers on competitive ways to attract and retain top talent.

  • Change Leadership – Skilled at guiding teams through organizational transformation, territory realignments, etc. while maintaining engagement and morale.
  • Talent Development Orientation – Track record of identifying and cultivating leadership potential, with a commitment to coaching, mentoring, and building diverse pipelines.
  • Collaboration & Cross-Functional Influence – Ability to foster strong partnerships between Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to achieve shared objectives.
  • Communication Excellence – Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft clear messaging for executive leaders, managers, and employees.
  • Resilience & Agility – Thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments with the adaptability to balance long-term strategy and urgent tactical needs.
  • Global & Cultural Awareness – Experience working with geographically distributed teams, with sensitivity to cultural differences and regional business practices.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years progressive HR experience, including a minimum of 5 years experience as an HR Business Partner
  • PHR or SHRM-CP preferred
  • Experience supporting sales client groups
  • Working knowledge of US and Canadian employment law
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with business presence
  • Extremely proficient in HR Information Systems, preferably Workday
  • Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, pivot charts) and PPT (deck creation and design)
  • Fosters and promotes a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • As Trend Micro is a global company, HR Partners must be available for occasional off-hours virtual meetings or trainings with colleagues in other regions
