Job Description

Job Responsibilities :

We are seeking a Senior Manager of Agentic AI (Autonomy Systems) to lead the team, design and build the autonomy layer for AI systems — including agent frameworks, planners, memory systems, tool-use orchestration, and multi-agent coordination. This critical layer turns foundation models into intelligent, autonomous systems capable of multi-step reasoning and action in real environments.

This role includes tight collaboration with the AI Solution Architect to ensure that all agentic systems follow architectural standards, integrate cleanly with the broader AI stack, and evolve in a scalable, modular, and maintainable way. This is a highly technical leadership role requiring expertise in LLM/ML-based decision systems, planning algorithms, and agent frameworks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the Agentic AI team, providing direction on autonomy frameworks, planning loops, and agent capability development.
  • Define the strategic roadmap for agentic capabilities aligned with business needs and architectural guidelines.
  • Define architectural blueprints for agent frameworks, planners, memory, orchestration layers, and tool-use systems, which meets architectural criteria for scalability, observability, maintainability and security.
  • Ensure agentic components align with the overall AI software tech stack, data flows, API standards, and system interfaces.
  • Align Agentic AI autonomy capabilities with Foundational AI model behaviours, model APIs, while identifying requirements needed for planning and tool use.
  • Integrate agentic systems into prototypes and products, together with the various evaluation feedback to improve reliability.
  • Define data logging needs for agent telemetry, reasoning trace, tool calls, and evaluation datasets.
  • Manage a team of data scientists, software engineers and tool developers.
  • Introduce state-of-the-art autonomy methods from research and open-source tooling.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to data scientists, data engineers and software developers.
