The Senior Manager, Internal Events & Content Strategy for Hospital Patient Monitoring (HPM) is a strategic role responsible for designing and executing internal events and content programs. This role drives employee engagement, fosters a unified culture, and aligns with Philips’ business objectives. Must Have

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of internal events, including town halls, sales kick-offs, employee engagement programs, and virtual/hybrid events.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring financial accountability and cost optimization.
  • Oversee all logistical aspects, including catering, travel, accommodation, A/V, and on-site staffing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure events align with business objectives and reinforce Philips’ culture and values.
  • Design and implement marketing and promotional strategies to maximize event attendance and engagement.
  • Define KPIs, measure event success, and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and execute a holistic internal content strategy that promotes culture, drives engagement, and fosters two-way communication.
  • Create or oversee the development of compelling content for internal events, leadership communications, and employee engagement programs.
  • Partner with senior leaders to craft strategic messaging and storytelling that aligns with organizational goals and inspires employees.
  • Source, onboard, and manage agencies, content creators, and event vendors, establishing KPIs, evaluating performance, and ensuring alignment with Philips’ standards.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners (HR, marketing, commercial, legal, finance) to define priorities and ensure consistent brand and compliance standards.
  • Develop processes, tools, and standards to streamline event delivery and optimize outsourced event production.
  • Define and track KPIs for internal events and content programs (e.g., engagement scores, attendance, sentiment, ROI).
  • Use analytics tools and employee feedback to report impact and drive continuous improvement across all deliverables.
  • 5+ years of experience managing large-scale events and processes across complex organizations, B2B or B2G events, preferably within Healthcare or Technology sectors.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing relationships with event vendors and agencies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational abilities, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality events on time and within budget.
  • Expertise in vendor negotiation, sourcing hotels and brand partners, and managing agency relationships.
  • Possess experience developing event portfolios aligned to business objectives and measuring success through KPIs and ROI analysis.
  • Proven experience leading content strategy and programming for events.
  • Experience in event and content management platforms such as Cvent, Adobe Creative Suite, CMS, CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), analytics tools (e.g., Meltwater, Sprinklr and collaboration tools like MS Teams and SharePoint).
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment.
  • Must reside in or within commuting distance to Cambridge, MA.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% domestically for event execution.

Our Senior Manager, Internal Events & Content Strategy for Hospital Patient Monitoring (HPM) is a strategic, high-impact role focused on designing and executing world-class internal events and content programs that drive employee engagement, foster a unified culture, and align with Philips’ business objectives. Your role:

  • Experience in event and content management platforms such as Cvent, Adobe Creative Suite, CMS, CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), analytics tools (e.g., Meltwater, Sprinklr and collaboration tools like MS Teams and SharePoint.
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree/MBA, preferred in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or related field. Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) strongly preferred.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in Cambridge, MA is $135,000 to $216,000.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
