Senior Manager Technical Certification (f/m/div)

As a Senior Manager Technical Certification, you will lead the end-to-end Security Certification process for Industrial Microcontroller products, ensuring compliance with global standards like PSA Level 3. You will manage and align activities, engage cross-functional stakeholders for accurate requirement definition, robust design, comprehensive testing, and successful certification. Additionally, you will steer Functional Safety (FuSa) activities, guiding safety analyses, overseeing concept development, and ensuring compliance with standards such as ISO 26262 and IEC 61508.

Must Have

• Drive and oversee end-to-end Security Certification process for Industrial Microcontroller products.
• Manage and align activities to meet relevant standards and regulatory frameworks (e.g., PSA Level 3).
• Engage with cross-functional stakeholders for security requirement definition, design, testing, documentation, and certification.
• Lead and steer Functional Safety (FuSa) activities for Industrial Microcontroller products.
• Guide and review Safety Analyses and Assessments, oversee Safety Concepts development.
• Ensure full compliance with applicable Functional Safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262, IEC 61508).
• Master's degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Physics, or similar.
• 5+ years of experience in product development in Semiconductor or similar industry.
• Hands-on experience in Functional Safety or Security Certification.
• Advanced knowledge of functional safety methodology and standards (ISO26262 or IEC 61508) or Security Certification (PSA level 3).
• Proficiency in audits, certifications, standards, and process management.
• Solid understanding of hardware electronic modules and/or analog/digital blocks.
• Strong communication and moderation skills.
• Fluency in English.

Key responsibilities in your new role

Working at the intersection of engineering, safety, and compliance, you’ll drive certification strategy, guide cross-functional teams, and ensure our products meet the highest global standards.

• Drive and oversee the end-to-end Security Certification process for Industrial Microcontroller products
• Manage and align all required activities to meet relevant standards and regulatory frameworks (e.g., PSA Level 3)
• Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accurate security requirement definition, robust design implementation, comprehensive testing, complete documentation, and successful certification outcomes
• Lead and steer Functional Safety (FuSa) activities for Industrial Microcontroller products
• Guide and review Safety Analyses and Assessments, oversee the development of Safety Concepts, and ensure effective execution and monitoring of all Safety Processes
• Collaborate with stakeholders to secure full compliance with applicable Functional Safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262, IEC 61508) and support certification readiness

• A Master's degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Physics, or a similar field of studies
• 5+ years of experience in the product development in the Semiconductor or similar industry
• Hands on experience in the field of Functional Safety or Security Certification.
• Advanced knowledge of functional safety methodology and standards (ISO26262 or IEC 61508) or Security Certification (PSA level 3)
• Proficiency in audits, certifications, standards, and process management
• A solid understanding of hardware electronic modules and / or analog / digital blocks
• Strong communication and moderation skills. Solid project management skills are a plus.
• Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus.

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, at least employment group I (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
