Nasdaq is seeking a Senior Product Delivery Specialist for its Eqlipse Central Securities Depository (CSD) product team. This role involves building solutions for clients, working with groundbreaking technologies in an international environment. The specialist will lead the definition, development, and delivery of Nasdaq products, ensuring client desirability, financial viability, and technical feasibility. Responsibilities include translating product strategy into a roadmap, communicating customer needs to the development team, prioritizing requirements, and ensuring quality throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.

Product Delivery Lead Eqlipse CSD

Nasdaq offers a superb opportunity for a Senior Product Delivery Specialist with a background in finance and curiosity about IT to join our Eqlipse Central Securities Depository (CSD) product team. The team is responsible for the Eqlipse CSD solution, which provides the infrastructure to CSDs worldwide, including custody, settlement, corporate actions, and other functions, as a standalone product or coordinated with other clearing solutions.

As a Senior Product Delivery Specialist, you will work closely with other Product Delivery team members, the Product Manager, Business Analysts, Software Developers, and QA Engineers to build solutions for our clients, working with groundbreaking technologies in an international environment.

Who we are looking for?

We are looking for a team member who has knowledge of CCP and/or CSD operations and the full transaction lifecycle. In this role, you will lead and manage the definition, development, and delivery of Nasdaq products by balancing client desirability, financial viability, and technical feasibility throughout the product lifecycle. As a Senior Product Delivery Specialist, you are directly responsible for improving the value of the product for our clients.

  • Implement the Vision – Translate the product strategy into a roadmap, metrics, and desired functionality expressed as requirements in the product backlog.
  • Translate Desires – Communicate the voice of the customer to the team and handle customer expectations as you turn their pains and problems into actionable items in the backlog. Provide guidance of product functionality to development teams.
  • Prioritize Needs – Understand, define, and communicate the prioritization of product requirements with a mind toward business value, flow, and tradeoffs.
  • Act as a Servant Leader – Actively review business risks, issues, & impediments expressed by the delivery team. Attend agile ceremonies to ensure that development work is aligned with the roadmap.
  • Enhance Quality – Build quality into acceptance criteria and accept all work increments produced by the development team. Supervise progress on release and completion. Integrate with the other business product lines and technology to align your product’s strategy with the overall needs advised by the business line and technology executives.
  • Level of Complexity – Manage risks of judgment with a serious impact on the success of your product.

What we expect:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Business/Finance, or a related subject area
  • Some years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Project Manager or in a similar client-facing role
  • Driven, curious, and value continuous learning
  • A person who takes initiative and ownership, while also collaborating with others
  • Confident in handling multiple clients and stakeholders team member
  • Strong analytical, and documentation skills with the ability to communicate business activities and flows
  • Strong English language skills- additional languages are a plus
  • Experience working with agile methodologies is preferable
  • The ability to travel sometimes to customer sites in different parts of the world may be required
