We are looking for a passionate and creative Senior Product Manager interested in pushing our understanding and application of Level Automation in Candy Crush. Supporting an already strong data savvy community, King acquired the AI platform company Peltarion in 2022 and our efforts within applications of machine learning and AI are ramping up. You would join the Kingdom at a very interesting time and will get the opportunity to be part of an excellent team, where we innovate on industry leading and genre defining games with over 200 million active players!
Your role within the Kingdom
As a Senior Product Manager focusing on Level Automation, you will be part of the Candy Crush Core Gameplay team and will be working in a cross-functional team in a lively, dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will own the Level Automation strategy to enable execution and drive business impact by creating meaningful and relevant experiences to delight our hundreds of millions of players and grow our business.
Key responsibilities include:
Drive the product strategy and roadmap for Level Automation working closely with Data Scientists, Engineers and Level Designers and other cross-functional colleagues
Drive the implementation and execution of the product strategy, ensuring effective collaborative working models across involved teams and ensuring a high level of delivery and value creation along the way
Build a great team environment, coordinating and aligning your cross- functional team(s) towards our goals
Drive effective x-org collaboration and ensure our requirements as internal customers are prioritized and met
Define and evaluate key results and performance metrics that inform the success of our products and features.
Articulate success metrics and business impact of AI/ML initiatives, as well as setting goals for teams and Level Automation
Use analytics and quantitative analysis to monitor game performance, recommend optimizations and provide input for interventions to increase user retention, engagement, and monetization.
Provide stakeholders with regular or ad-hoc updates on the progress and performance of the personalization efforts
Skills to create thrills
You are a passionate problem solver and can draw data driven business insights that will add real value to King. You are an excellent communicator with experience managing a variety of different stakeholders. You are proactive and demonstrate the desire to learn quickly and work in a fast paced and collaborative environment whilst communicating effectively with teams and individuals across King.
Experience and capabilities that would suit this role:
You have experience in a product leadership or product management role at a tech/games company
You have previous hands-on experience working with AI/ML and applications where you have realized business impact
Worked in a similar role before where the objective has been to enable and scale the business from an AI/ML perspective
Prior experience in an industry with very short implementation cycles such as digital products and services or games
Highly analytical, an excellent understanding of data and statistics, with the ability to interpret data with confidence and drive through your recommendations
You have experience working with creative crafts, such as design and art, as well engineers, aligning everyone towards the same goal
Curiosity and willingness to learn new skills
