We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead Oura's Sleep Squad, a foundational and strategic pillar that is central to Oura's product experience. Your core mission is to apply world-class consumer product thinking and execution to our industry-leading physiological data, ensuring we maintain and extend our position as the gold standard for sleep analysis in the wearables market.
You will drive the vision, strategy, and execution of our sleep and sleep-related metrics, collaborating with world-class designers, engineers, data scientists, and researchers to create impactful, scientifically rigorous, and highly engaging user experiences.
Preferred location in Helsinki or Oulu, Finland.
What You Will Do:
- Own and drive the roadmap for the Sleep Squad, helping to solidify Oura’s reputation as the most accurate and insightful sleep tracker in the world.
- Lead a world-class cross-functional team of product designers, developers, data scientists, and researchers to scale and enhance our core sleep analysis and innovative sleep features.
- Drive the optimization of the user experience with sleep features, leveraging personalization and behavioral science to maximize daily engagement and long-term retention.
- Develop product requirements and specifications that balance cutting-edge sleep science, deep user needs, and ambitious business objectives.
- Coordinate with other product teams, product marketing, legal, IP, commerce, and leadership to ensure alignment and successful execution of sleep initiatives.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to drive the long-term sleep product vision forward, including strategically expanding Oura's value proposition within the broader digital health ecosystem.
- Measure and analyze feature performance, focusing on metrics related to accuracy, user engagement with sleep insights, and perceived value to continuously improve the user experience.
We Would Love to Have You on Our Team, If You Have:
- 5+ years of experience as a product manager for consumer products, with a proven track record of shipping successful consumer features or products in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of product development processes from conception to launch.
- Demonstrated experience in the domain of health tech, wearables, or physiological-based products is a significant advantage.
- Experience working with scientific or research teams to translate complex concepts into accurate and user-friendly features.
- Proven track record of working collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
