Job Summary

As a Senior Project Leader/ Project Manager for HR Payroll & Time at Infineon, you will lead regional or local projects to optimize HR processes and systems related to payroll and time management across EMEA. This role involves identifying and implementing process improvements, serving as a subject matter expert, partnering with various HR teams, managing vendors, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. You will contribute to developing team capabilities and driving People Excellence within a high-performance organization.

Must Have

  • Lead and deliver regional or local HR Payroll & Time projects
  • Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and compliance
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for payroll and time management systems
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, Centers of Expertise, and service teams
  • Manage vendors and coordinate system enhancements (e.g., SAP HCM, SuccessFactors)
  • Ensure compliance with local and regional legal requirements
  • Support colleagues with expert guidance and develop team capabilities
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
  • Strong experience in HR operations, payroll, and time management, including project management
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll and time processes; basic understanding of related HR disciplines
  • Proven ability to resolve complex problems and deliver innovative solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in an international environment
  • Proficiency in HR systems (SAP HCM, SuccessFactors, or equivalent) and MS Office tools
  • Fluent in German and very good English skills

As a Senior Project Leader/ Project Manager for HR Payroll & Time, you will play a key role in driving People Excellence within a high-performance organization. You will lead projects and initiatives that optimize HR processes and systems related to payroll and time management across the EMEA region. This position requires strong project management skills, deep knowledge of HR operations, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to deliver efficient, compliant, and innovative solutions.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Lead and deliver regional or local projects within HR Payroll & Time, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline targets are met
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, and employee experience
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for payroll and time management systems and processes
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, Centers of Expertise, and service teams to implement best practices and drive continuous improvement
  • Manage vendors and coordinate system enhancements or rollouts (e.g. SAP HCM, SuccessFactors, or comparable platforms)
  • Ensure compliance with local and regional legal and regulatory requirements
  • Support colleagues with expert guidance and contribute to developing team capabilities

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

  • In-depth knowledge of payroll and time processes; basic understanding of related HR disciplines
  • Proven ability to resolve complex problems and deliver innovative solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in an international environment
  • Proficiency in HR systems (SAP HCM, SuccessFactors, or equivalent) and MS Office tools
  • Fluent in German and very good English skills
