Job Summary

Avalanche Studios Group is seeking a Senior Release Manager to lead multi-platform launches for 'The Hunter: Call of the Wild'. This critical role involves coordinating and ensuring successful game releases, continuous patch/content updates, and assisting in promotional activities. The manager will own compliance and submissions, integrate platform requirements, and act as a subject matter expert for first-party processes, collaborating with various internal teams to deliver timely and quality releases.

Must Have

  • Manage multi-platform releases by partnering with stakeholders to integrate platform, compliance, and publishing requirements from early development through post-launch
  • Own Compliance & Submissions by handling build uploads, certification, and storefront setup on platforms such as Sony, Microsoft, Steam, Epic Games Store, Nintendo
  • Be the project’s subject matter expert for first-party processes, best practices & building relationships with partners
  • Develop, track, and maintain release plans/schedules in collaboration with game team leads and product owners
  • Anticipate risks, release challenges, implement mitigation plans, and act as the escalation point for high-priority issues
  • Coordinate with multiple internal teams (Localization, User Research, Marketing, Development, Sales & Partnership) to ensure timely and quality releases
  • Facilitate and coordinate feature approvals with first-party platforms when necessary
  • 5+ years of experience in Release Management with a proven track record of releasing and publishing at least one base game on multiple platforms, including at least one console release
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the full game development lifecycle and its integration with publishing workflows
  • Expertise in first-party submission and certification processes for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo and PC platforms
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, ASANA and partner portals
  • Strong communication skills with the potential of knowledge sharing & mentoring other release manager(s) when applicable
  • Ability to work as a team player and also independently
  • Comfortable with moving between routine tasks and completely new ones

Avalanche Studios Group is hiring a Senior Release Manager to take ownership of multi-platform launches from start to finish for the world's number one hunting game; The Hunter: Call of the Wild. The Senior Release Manager is a critical role that collaborates within the project and our Publishing department.

The position:

As a Senior Release Manager, you will take ownership of coordinating and ensuring a successful release process on multiple platforms. You will work with Domain Experts and Production to ensure smooth game releases, deliver continuous patch/content updates and assist in any promotional activities by having a proactive, collaborative and solution oriented approach.
