Job Summary
4A Games is seeking a Senior Render Programmer to expand their next-generation graphics pipeline. The role involves developing advanced lighting and rendering techniques, special effects, and optimizing existing and future rendering code. Candidates should be self-driven to learn new techniques and possess strong communication skills to collaborate with Technical Artists on feature development and iteration. This position requires expertise in 3D math, rendering algorithms, data structures, and physically-based rendering.
Must Have
- Expand next-gen graphics pipeline, advanced lighting, rendering, special effects.
- Identify bottlenecks and optimize rendering code.
- Proficient C++ knowledge.
- Thorough knowledge of 3D math, rendering algorithms, data structures.
- Performance-minded development and optimization.
- Self-driven to learn and implement new rendering techniques.
- Mathematical Analysis skills.
- Conceptual fluency with physically-based rendering.
- Strong communication with technical artists for feature development.
Good to Have
- Knowledge of a broad range of graphics APIs and shader languages including DirectX and OpenGL/GLSL.
- Experience developing for 9th generation console hardware.
