Uniphore is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Engineer to join its high-performance Sales Engineering team in Europe, based in London. This role involves acting as a trusted technical advisor and strategic partner to enterprise clients, collaborating with account executives, product management, and engineering. The Senior Sales Engineer will demonstrate Uniphore’s Business AI Cloud and Suite, focusing on marketing applications, and lead the technical sales cycle from discovery to proof of concept, translating complex enterprise challenges into transformative AI solutions.
Good To Have:
  • Experience preferably within enterprise marketing SaaS, or CDP platforms such as Adobe Real-Time CDP, mParticle, Salesforce, Tealium, and Twilio Segment.
  • Prior experience particularly in multi-channel marketing campaigns such as Adobe’s Experience Platform, Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Braze.
Must Have:
  • Act as the technical lead in the sales cycle, partnering with Account Executives.
  • Understand how AI can drive value in Enterprises and the power of language models and agents.
  • Facilitate customer sessions, including architectural deep dives and business value design workshops.
  • Understand customer pain points in driving and implementing AI and marketing solutions.
  • Deliver compelling technical presentations and demos of Uniphore’s Marketing AI suite.
  • Build and deliver custom demos and POCs.
  • Conduct discovery sessions with key business and technical stakeholders.
  • Translate business requirements into AI solution architectures.
  • Respond to RFPs/RFIs.
  • Advise clients on Marketing AI adoption strategies, integration with multi-modal data platforms, and industry best practices.
  • Contribute to a culture of technical excellence, customer obsession, and innovation.
  • Build and maintain deep domain expertise in marketing and customer data trends.
  • Serve a key role with the Product Team as an SME of our Marketing AI Platform.
  • Be comfortable in continuous conversation with business partners.
  • Become an expert in Uniphore’s Marketing AI Platform, advising clients on integration.
  • 5+ years of experience in pre-sales, solution engineering, or technical consulting.
  • 3+ years in mar-tech or ad-tech enterprise systems.
  • Familiarity with data, including data mapping, transformation, database structures, and ETL processes.
  • General understanding of AI concepts: LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, Agentic AI architectures, AI security and governance, and ethical AI.
  • Experience and knowledge of data systems, data orchestration, cloud data warehousing, SQL, and other related technologies.
  • Strong ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven track record supporting enterprise sales cycles and closing large deals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed for client engagements.

Job Description

Uniphore, a global Business AI technology company, is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Engineer to join its high-performance Sales Engineering team to support its customer and strategic partners in Europe. As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will be a trusted technical advisor and strategic partner to our enterprise clients. You’ll collaborate closely with account executives, product management, and engineering to demonstrate the power of Uniphore’s Business AI Cloud and Suite, with a focus on marketing applications - helping Fortune 1000 organizations design, prototype, and deploy intelligent AI systems that drive measurable business outcomes. You’ll lead the technical sales cycle from discovery to proof of concept, translating complex enterprise challenges into transformative AI solutions that showcase Uniphore’s innovation, scalability, and value.

Team Charter and/or Mission: Our mission is to become trusted advisors to the clients and partners we work with, while advocating Uniphore’s AI platform and Marketing application. The sales engineering organization bridges our cutting-edge AI technologies with customer business outcomes—designing, showcasing, and delivering solutions that accelerate adoption, drive growth, and ensure customer success across industries and geographies. We will keep our client’s interests in the forefront while solving unique business problems harnessing the power of Uniphore’s AI platform and pre-built solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical lead in the sales cycle, partnering with Account Executives to drive enterprise opportunities from qualification to close.
  • Have a perspective on how AI can drive value in Enterprises and understand the power of language models and agents to impact business value across verticals and business functions.
  • Facilitate customer sessions, including architectural deep dives and business value design workshops that uncover their goals and present solutions on how Uniphore Marketing AI can bring success
  • Understand customer pain points in driving and implementing AI and marketing solutions.
  • Deliver compelling technical presentations, demos showcasing the power of Uniphore’s Marketing AI suite with an understanding of key marketing drivers and the customer data platform landscape.
  • Build and deliver custom demos and POCs to validate business value and technical feasibility.
  • Conduct discovery sessions with key business and technical stakeholders to uncover needs, pain points, and desired outcomes.
  • Translate business requirements into AI solution architectures that leverage Uniphore’s capabilities, collaborating with product and engineering teams.
  • Respond to RFPs/RFIs with detailed technical responses and solution designs.
  • Advise clients on Marketing AI adoption strategies, integration with multi-modal data platforms, and industry best practices.
  • Contribute to a culture of technical excellence, customer obsession, and innovation.
  • Build and maintain deep domain expertise in marketing and customer data trends, competitor offerings, and the evolving landscape of agentic applications and enterprise AI adoption.
  • Serve a key role with the Product Team as an SME of our Marketing AI Platform by influencing our strategy and roadmap.
  • Need to be comfortable in continuous conversation with your business partners to understand requirements and requirement changes, while also informing the business strategy based on what's possible in the Marketing AI Platform.
  • Become an expert in Uniphore’s Marketing AI Platform, advising clients on how the product can integrate with their existing technology stack.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in pre-sales, solution engineering, or technical consulting – preferably within enterprise marketing SaaS, or CDP platforms such as Adobe Real-Time CDP, mParticle, Salesforce, Tealium, and Twilio Segment is desired.
  • Prior experience particularly in multi-channel marketing campaigns such as Adobe’s Experience Platform, Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Braze is desired.
  • 3+ years in mar-tech or ad-tech enterprise systems and have a complex understanding of the marketing technology and advertising technology ecosystems and how business users use data to drive business value
  • Should be familiar, comfortable, and passionate about data, including data mapping, transformation, database structures, and ETL processes.
  • General understanding of AI concepts: Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, Agentic AI architectures, AI security and governance, and ethical AI
  • Experience and knowledge of data systems, data orchestration, cloud data warehousing, SQL, and other related technologies.
  • Strong ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven track record supporting enterprise sales cycles and closing large deals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage with all levels within large enterprises, from C-suite to technician.
  • Strong problem-solving and storytelling skills—able to connect AI capabilities to strategic business outcomes.
  • Ability to travel as needed for client engagements.
