Job Summary
Tala is seeking a Senior Snowflake Administrator to operate Snowflake securely and efficiently. This role involves collaborating with peers to ensure productivity while adhering to data privacy policies and governance standards. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining RBAC architecture, automating role provisioning and audits using tools like Terraform and custom scripts, configuring warehouse sizing, auto-suspend/resume, and multi-cluster settings. Additionally, the administrator will set up and monitor resource monitors for cost control, apply and enforce PII tagging and masking policies, and track access patterns using ACCESS_HISTORY and OBJECT_DEPENDENCIES. A background in a software company or platform team and experience with Python, DBT, or Airflow are considered advantageous.
