Salesforce Commerce Cloud
Requires expertise in SFCC platform development including JavaScript server-side and client-side, ISML templates, and SFRA. Key Responsibilities
- Custom Development
- Write clean, secure, and scalable code using server-side JavaScript and ISML templates for B2C storefronts.
- Platform Understanding
- Utilize the Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud platform's native capabilities including its architecture, cartridges, and APIs (OCAPI, SCAPI).
Integrations
- Integrate with third-party services including payments, PIM, OMS, and ERP systems leveraging APIs.
- Agile Development
- Participate in Agile rituals like sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Performance Optimization
- Lead efforts in performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting for the B2C Commerce Cloud platform.
Best Practices
- Implement and promote best practices in version control (Git), code reviews, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Documentation
- Effectively document complex functionalities within code and external documentation.
Mentoring
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team's overall technical expertise.
- Required Skills Qualifications
- SFCC Expertise: Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud (SFCC/Demandware) development.
- SFRA Knowledge: Deep understanding and hands-on experience with the Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA).
- Programming Skills: Strong proficiency in server-side JavaScript, ISML, HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery.
- API Knowledge: Experience with OCAPI and SCAPI for integrating with the platform.
- Digital Commerce Knowledge: Good understanding of core eCommerce processes including product catalogs, pricing, promotions, and inventory management.
- Integration Platforms: Experience with digital commerce integrations such as PIM, OMS, ERP, and CMS.
- Version Control: Proficiency with version control systems like Git.
- Agile Tools: Familiarity with Agile development tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical, conceptual, and critical thinking skills.
- Soft Skills: Good communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
