Senior Systems Engineer

Dream Sports is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure across enterprise and cloud environments. The role involves architecting and managing cloud networking solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring network security, and collaborating with engineering teams for optimization. Responsibilities also include developing documentation, troubleshooting complex issues, and supporting performance monitoring. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years in network engineering, with at least 2 years in cloud networking.

Must Have

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure across enterprise and cloud environments.
• Architect and manage cloud networking solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Ensure network security by applying best practices, including firewall policies, security groups, and network ACLs.
• Collaborate with Engineering/Product teams to optimize cloud-based networking and support hybrid and multi-cloud architectures.
• Develop and maintain accurate documentation of network and cloud infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and cloud connectivity issues.
• Support network performance monitoring, capacity planning, and reliability improvements.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in network engineering.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with cloud networking on major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong understanding of routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, BGP, IPsec, and load balancing.
• Experience with network automation tools or scripting (e.g., Python, Terraform, Ansible).

Good to Have

• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer Associate, GCP Professional Cloud Network Engineer).
• Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture, SASE, or modern network security frameworks.

Your Role

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure across enterprise and cloud environments
• Architect and manage cloud networking solutions on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP - including VPCs/VNETs, subnets, NAT gateways, VPNs, peering, and load balancing
• Ensure network security by applying best practices, including firewall policies, security groups, and network ACLs
• Collaborate with Engineering/Product teams to optimize cloud-based networking and support hybrid and multi-cloud architectures
• Develop and maintain accurate documentation of network and cloud infrastructure—designs, configurations, runbooks, and change logs
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and cloud connectivity issues
• Support network performance monitoring, capacity planning, and reliability improvements

Qualifiers

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in network engineering
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with cloud networking on major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong understanding of routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, BGP, IPsec, and load balancing
• Experience with network automation tools or scripting (e.g., Python, Terraform, Ansible)
• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer Associate, GCP Professional Cloud Network Engineer) are a plus
• Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture, SASE, or modern network security frameworks
