Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Integration Engineer to lead and execute complex system integration initiatives across hardware and software platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in end-to-end system integration, interface management, and system-level testing, with a proven ability to work across cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable, and high-performance integrated solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end Systems integration of hardware and software components across multiple subsystems.
- Define and execute system integration strategies, plans, and schedules aligned with project milestones.
- Collaborate with system engineering, development, and QA teams to ensure seamless integration and validation of system interfaces.
- Develop and maintain interface control documents (ICDs) and ensure compliance with system architecture and design specifications.
- Conduct system-level testing, including functional, performance, regression, and interoperability testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across hardware, firmware, middleware, and application layers.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for integration defects and anomalies.
- Support system verification and validation activities, including test case development and execution.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers in integration best practices.
- Interface with key project teams to execute system integration Testing.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in system integration engineering, preferably in Transport systems, embedded systems, IoT, or enterprise platforms.
- Strong understanding of hardware-software integration, embedded systems, Device and system architecture.
- Hands-on experience with interface protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, USB).
- Proficiency in system testing methodologies, test automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium), and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell).
- Experience with configuration management, version control systems (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Track and report integration tasks, issues, and progress using JIRA or similar project management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies.
- Working knowledge of ISO/IEEE 24748-6 System and Software Integration Standard and its application in Systems integration planning and execution.
- Familiarity with safety-critical systems and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 26262, DO-178C/254A).
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Certifications in Systems Engineering (INCOSE) or Integration Testing are a plus.
