Senior Technical Artist

The Senior Technical Artist will maintain an efficient art pipeline, from concept art to game-ready asset implementation. They will coordinate with the code team to improve technical processes, and support all creative departments. Responsibilities also include asset optimization, preparing specialized assets like fluid simulations, and creating documentation. The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and a deep understanding of the game development pipeline within Unreal Engine 5. This individual will contribute to high-quality projects with experienced colleagues and a familial environment.

Must Have

• 4+ years experience in similar position in the video game industry
• Superb knowledge of Unreal Engine 5
• Strong understanding of the game development pipeline
• Effective communication skills and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Contribute to maintaining an efficient art pipeline; from concept art to game ready asset implementation, directly into the engine
• Coordinate with the code team and constantly seek improvements to our technical processes, come up with potential improvements for asset creation, strive for automation
• Support all creative departments in need of your expertise
• Asset optimization
• Prepare specialized assets (fluid simulations, destructible meshes etc.)
• Create and maintain documentation

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in similar position in the video game industry
• Superb knowledge of Unreal Engine 5
• Strong understanding of the game development pipeline
• Effective communication skills and teamwork
• English Language B2/C1
