Job Description

Dash0 is building an easy-to-use, OpenTelemetry-native observability platform. As the first Senior Technical Writer, you will define Dash0's voice, creating compelling and accurate technical content like guides, tutorials, and blog posts. You will collaborate with marketing and product teams to educate and inspire users, breaking down complex concepts into clear, engaging material to support Dash0's mission of making observability easy for developers.

Must Have:

Create and maintain a wide range of content formats like technical guides, tutorials, use cases, webinars, talks, blog posts, white papers.
Collaborate closely with the marketing & product team to identify relevant topics and craft authentic, value-driven content.
Stay up-to-date on trends and innovations across cloud infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, OpenTelemetry, metrics, tracing, logging, APM, security, and automation.
Break down complex technical concepts into clear, accurate, and engaging content for various audiences (from beginners to experts).
Ensure SEO optimization, consistency, and technical accuracy across all content.
Support the development and management of documentation hubs, knowledge bases, or developer portals.
3+ years of experience in technical writing or content creation for a B2B SaaS company, preferably in the cloud-native, observability, or developer tools space.
Proficiency in understanding and writing about cloud infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, OpenTelemetry, metrics, tracing, logging, APM, security, and automation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Experience with SEO best practices and content optimization.
Familiarity with documentation tools and content management systems.

You will be responsible for creating compelling and technically accurate content that educates, informs, and inspires our users and the wider community.

Duties and Responsibilities

Create and maintain a wide range of content formats like technical guides, tutorials, use cases, webinars, talks, blog posts, white papers

What you bring:

You're a skilled and enthusiastic technical writer with a deep understanding of complex technical concepts and an ability to translate them into accessible content.

3+ years of experience in technical writing or content creation for a B2B SaaS company, preferably in the cloud-native, observability, or developer tools space
A strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to explain complex technical topics clearly and engagingly
Proficiency in understanding and writing about cloud infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, OpenTelemetry, metrics, tracing, logging, APM, security, and automation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Experience with SEO best practices and content optimization
Familiarity with documentation tools and content management systems
