Dash0 is building an easy-to-use observability platform, OpenTelemetry-native, aiming to be the best observability experience globally. As a Technical Writer, you will create compelling and technically accurate content, including guides, tutorials, and blog posts, to educate and inspire users and the community. Your role involves collaborating with marketing and product teams, staying updated on cloud-native trends, and translating complex technical concepts into clear, engaging content to support Dash0's mission.

Must Have:

Create and maintain technical guides, tutorials, use cases, blog posts, and whitepapers.
Collaborate with marketing & product to identify relevant topics and craft value-driven content.
Stay updated on trends in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, OpenTelemetry, metrics, tracing, logging, APM, security, and automation.
Break down complex technical concepts into clear, accurate, and engaging content.
Apply SEO best practices and ensure consistency and technical accuracy.
Contribute high-quality content to documentation hubs, knowledge bases, or developer portals.
2+ years of experience in technical writing or content creation for a B2B SaaS company (cloud-native, observability, or developer tools preferred).
Strong portfolio demonstrating ability to explain complex technical topics clearly.
Experience writing about complex technical topics (cloud infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, OpenTelemetry, etc.).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Familiarity with documentation tools and content management systems.

As a Technical Writer, you will play a crucial role communicating our value to a broad technical audience. You will be responsible for creating compelling and technically accurate content that educates, informs, and inspires our users and the wider community.

Duties and Responsibilities

Create and maintain a wide range of content formats: technical guides, tutorials, use cases, blog posts, and whitepapers
Collaborate closely with the marketing & product team to help identify relevant topics and craft authentic, value-driven content
Stay up-to-date on trends and innovations across cloud infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, OpenTelemetry, metrics, tracing, logging, APM, security, and automation
Break down complex technical concepts into clear, accurate, and engaging content for various audiences (from beginners to experts)
Apply SEO best practices and ensure consistency and technical accuracy in your work
Contribute high-quality content to our documentation hubs, knowledge bases, or developer portals

What you bring

You're a skilled and enthusiastic technical writer with a strong understanding of complex technical concepts and an ability to translate them into accessible content. You have:

2+ years of experience in technical writing or content creation for a B2B SaaS company, preferably in the cloud-native, observability, or developer tools space.
A strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to explain complex technical topics clearly and engagingly.
Some experience in writing about complex technical topics such as cloud infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, OpenTelemetry, metrics, tracing, logging, APM, security, and automation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Familiarity with documentation tools and content management systems
