This client is a world leader in dredging, offshore energy solutions, infra marine, and environmental works. As a Senior Works Manager, you will be responsible for the operational execution of offshore installation projects, leading a team of site superintendents and project engineers. Your role involves communicating with project stakeholders, organizing works according to method statements, monitoring progress, assisting in coordination, and reporting on budget and cost control. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering and installation background with at least 7 years of relevant offshore experience.
Must Have
- Communicate clearly with project engineers, project management and Clients.
- Take the responsibility towards organization of the works and ensure they are carried out in accordance to the method statement and in a safe way.
- Accurately monitor the progress of projects.
- Assist in the coordination of the work on site, optimize and correct if necessary.
- Report about budget and cost control in close collaboration with the project manager.
- 7 Years of relevant (offshore) work experience.
- Strong project management and planning skills.
- Extensive experience working in Highsafety environments.
- Good communication skills.
- Able to take a critical view towards the works to be carried out.
- Work well in teams, where you are able to support the other persons in your team and lead the workforce in the field.
- Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering.
- Full GWO.
- Fluent proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Good to Have
- Proficiency in other languages is a plus.

Department Description and responsibilities
As a Works Manager, you are responsible for the operational execution of the works on site. You can rely on a team of site superintendents and project engineers. You report directly to the project manager. You focus on the bigger scheme of things whereas the superintendents deal with day to day issues. We are currently looking for an an experienced Works Manager who can manage (large) offshore installation projects, having both a strong engineering but also installation background.
