Job Description

In this role, you will be the main interface between Philips and customers, demonstrating strong customer service skills to build and maintain effective relationships with customers and the Philips’ team in order to drive service growth. You will act as a consultant, guiding clients with objective strategies, leveraging Philips' service offerings to provide solutions, and developing strategies to achieve business growth targets within your assigned territory.
Must Have:
  • 6+ years of experience in Service sales or medical device.
  • Consistent and successful sales track record & results: over quota performance, forecast accuracy, balanced portfolio, and competitive wins.
  • Bilingual French and English skills, both written and verbal, are required.
  • Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or equivalent.
  • Strong executive level selling, negotiation and facilitation skills.

In this role you will act as the main interface between Philips and customers, demonstrating your strong customer service skills to build and maintain effective relationships with customers and the Philips’ team in order to drive service growth.

Your role:

  • Taking on a consultant role in order to guide the customer in strategies in an objective manner, leveraging the entire Philips service offering to provide solutions.
  • Assessing and understanding the customers’ business model, vision, values, roadmap, budget, strengths and weaknesses, and identifies issues and opportunities.
  • Developing and owning strategies for customers within assigned territory that will achieve business growth targets.
  • Anticipating customer objections/needs and developing pro-active strategies to successfully position Philips as the preferred partner. And working with the Service Sales & Marketing Director and commercial sales to develop overall territory service sales plan and accurately forecasting possible deals and ensuring revenue targets are met.

  • You’ve acquired 6+ years of experience in Service sales or medical device.
  • Your skills include Consistent and successful sales track record & results: over quota performance, forecast accuracy, balanced portfolio, and competitive wins.
  • Bilingual French and English skills, both written and verbal, are required. French is promoted internally, but English is essential for our global business. The candidate may report to a manager outside Quebec and/or interact with colleagues and partners in other provinces and countries. English is needed for communication, training, and support nationally and globally. Philips offers French and English language training, aiming for fluency in both.
  • You have a Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or equivalent.
  • You’re an strong executive level selling, negotiation and facilitation skills.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Detail

The pay range for this position is $63,000 to $99,000 plus company/fleet car. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, DC Pension, Flex Dollars (for HSA/PSA/RRSP), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
