Job Description
Valeo is seeking an SMT Maintenance Technician (m/f/d) for its Friedrichsdorf location. The role involves repairing, maintaining, and servicing SMT and back-end systems, ensuring smooth production, and verifying safety devices. Responsibilities also include escalating and resolving maintenance issues, repairing components, timely data collection for process capability and machine calibration, and maintaining maintenance documentation. The technician will optimize spare parts management, adhere to safety regulations, participate in QRQC, and support colleagues while maintaining 5S standards.
Good To Have:
- Professional experience in the manufacture of electronic assemblies (SMT)
Must Have:
- Repair, maintenance, and servicing of SMT and back-end systems
- Ensuring a smooth production process for PC-controlled machines
- Checking safety devices before machine restart
- Escalation and resolution of maintenance problems
- Repair of components and sub-assemblies
- Timely data collection for process capability and machine calibration
- Maintenance of maintenance documentation
- Optimization of spare parts management with warehouse and suppliers
- Adherence to safety regulations and immediate response to hazards
- Participation in QRQC and supervision of subcontractors
- Support for colleagues and adherence to 5S in maintenance
- Setup of assembly and test stations for automated processes
- Technical training (e.g., mechatronics technician, technician) with a focus on electrical engineering, electronics, precision engineering, mechatronics
- Willingness to work in a 3-shift, 18-shift model
