Job Summary
The Social Coordinator at Vogue will engage with social and app users to foster a positive, diverse, and inclusive community, driving engagement and retention. This role involves acting as the primary contact for the Vogue App community, tracking engagement metrics, and mitigating conflicts. The coordinator will also support content development and curation for the app and social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok, cover events, and stay updated on social trends. They will facilitate global content sharing and support the @vogue (Vogue Shopping) Instagram account, analyzing performance to inform strategy.
Must Have
- Act as the primary point of contact for the Vogue App community, addressing their questions, feedback, and concerns promptly.
- Track and analyze community engagement metrics on the Vogue app to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
- Proactively manage and mitigate potential conflicts or negative situations within the app community.
- Help develop and curate engaging content for the Vogue App, all social media, newsletters, and other communication channels.
- Support the Vogue Social team on day-to-day posting, editing, and optimization of content on multiple social media platforms including Instagram and TikTok, while adapting based on strategy for each platform.
- Cover red carpets and events, conducting interviews and shooting social video on site.
- Maintain awareness and provide social support to all brand initiatives — including new columns, series, podcasts, and events.
- Stay up to date on evolving features and trends on social platforms, constantly ideating ways for Vogue to take part.
- Serve as central point of contact for Vogue global markets and facilitate global content sharing.
- Support @vogue (Vogue Shopping) Instagram account, collaborating closely with the commerce team, design team, and audience development team. Analyze weekly performance to inform social strategy.
- Prepare regular reports on community growth, engagement, and user sentiment.

We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Social Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging with our social and app users, fostering a positive, diverse, and inclusive community - driving user engagement and retention. This role requires a combination of creativity, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills. The position will report directly to Vogue’s Global Director of Social, and will work closely with Vogue’s VP Head of Content Strategy, Creative Editorial Director, and wider Vogue editorial team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for the Vogue App community, addressing their questions, feedback, and concerns promptly.
- Track and analyze community engagement metrics on the Vogue app to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
- Proactively manage and mitigate potential conflicts or negative situations within the app community.
- Help develop and curate engaging content for the Vogue App, all social media, newsletters, and other communication channels.
- Support the Vogue Social team on day-to-day posting, editing, and optimization of content on multiple social media platforms including Instagram and TikTok, while adapting based on strategy for each platform.

- Established sensibility with a deep enthusiasm for Vogue’s core content areas (fashion, culture, music, film, TV, sports, wellness, etc.).
- Excellent track record of growing audience, partnering on creative execution, developing brand-appropriate digital content for programming and sustained critical success.
- Demonstrated experience in building a culture of trust and inclusion.
- Entrepreneurial, strategic, and holistic mindset, eagerness to learn and build, and a reputation as an an innovative, adaptable, and proactive “doer” with desire to differentiate Vogue and Condé Nast from the competition.
- Proven ability to balance long-term value with near-term business goals, with the ability to manage heavy workload and prioritize appropriately.
- Knowledge of internet culture and digital video landscape (e.g. YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, FAST), the unique elements of each social platform, and what makes follower growth successful.
- Demonstrated ability to generate multiple revenue streams driven from content.
- Proven ability to proactively identify and implement effective solutions to problems and to create processes.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Strong operational with tactical skills; expert level knowledge around multi-platform distribution and deep knowledge of all stages of the production and distribution process.

The expected base salary range for this position is from $63,000-$71,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
