Job Description

As Social Media Manager, you will be part of a team of problem solvers. Responsibilities include executing the national social media strategy, developing key initiatives, managing the day-to-day operations of a central content calendar, exploring new platforms and AI integration, managing paid social media campaigns, and analyzing campaign performance. You will also manage a social media advocacy program and lead initiatives to document best practices and enhance team capabilities. Championing social media knowledge sharing and process improvement and staying ahead of social media trends are also part of the job.
Must have:

Meaningful work you’ll be part of

As Social Media Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Execute on the national social media strategy and develop key initiatives that align with Marketing and Communications objectives, ensuring integration across internal stakeholders and associated brand campaigns.

  • Develop, oversee and execute the day-to-day operations of a central content calendar. Requires oversight of upcoming content, stakeholder management and integration of all Marketing and Communications internal stakeholders.

  • Demonstrates a self-starter mindset with a passion for innovation—constantly exploring new platforms, AI integration, and ideas to push boundaries and elevate brand engagement.

  • Manage and lead the execution of an integrated always-on paid strategy that is cohesive across all social media channels and tailored to audience behaviors at each stage of the funnel.

  • Manage and execute social media campaigns with internal marketing stakeholders and external agencies that support the buyer journey and are fully integrated with multichannel marketing efforts; analyze and report on campaign performance using analytics tools to translate insights into actionable recommendations and present findings to key stakeholders.

  • Manage the execution of a social media advocacy program for employees, leaders, and brand ambassadors to support safe and effective advocacy that amplifies brand reach and credibility.

  • Lead initiatives to document best practices, streamline workflows, and enhance team capabilities.

  • Champion social media knowledge sharing and process improvement across the Marketing and Communications teams.

  • Lead education and training initiatives to elevate social media literacy across the organization.  This can include workshops, learning materials, and ongoing support for best practices, governance, and brand standards.

  • Stay ahead of social media trends, tools, and best practices, integrating fresh ideas and approaches to keep PwC’s content engaging and relevant.

  • A commercial approach, understanding how social media activity translates to business outcomes.

  • Excellent communication, writing and facilitation skills are essential as is the ability to liaise, influence, challenge effectively and build relationships at senior management, peer, and team level.

  • Proven track record in content management and a sound understanding of multi-channel marketing techniques (ideally within a B2B / professional / financial services or related sectors).

  • Strong analytical ability, with experience of capturing, analyzing, and developing recommendations based upon complex ROI data sets.

  • The ability to implement tactical initiatives, manage multiple projects and strong in stakeholder management.

  • Creative and innovative thinking with a sound business understanding, commercially and risk aware, and the ability to generate credibility and respect at senior levels.
