Job Description

The Solution Architect acts as a member of on-site/remote project teams, leveraging in-depth knowledge of customer business and processes to design and implement Blue Yonder solutions for supply chain transformation programs. This role involves leading the implementation of Blue Yonder products, owning end-to-end solution design, collaborating with customer business and IT teams, and providing leadership to functional teams throughout project phases. The architect also serves as a functional and industry expert, participating in key meetings and mentoring junior associates.
Good To Have:
  • Fluency in additional European languages (German or French)
  • Machine Learning & Data Science concept familiarity
  • Experience in supply chain software implementation
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and project approaches
  • Python and SQL elementary skills
Must Have:
  • Lead implementation of Blue Yonder products, including ownership of end-to-end solution design
  • Work with customer business and IT teams during all project phases
  • Provide leadership to functional teams during implementation cycles
  • Serve as a functional and industry expert and participate in key meetings
  • Work closely with Product Management Department regarding specific trends for future product functionality/enhancements
  • Provide mentorship to junior associates
  • Work with the pre-sales team to assess workload and recommend roles
  • 8+ years of industry experience in Supply Chain/Retail industry
  • Very good understanding of Category/Range/Display Management and Assortment concepts for retail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Hands-on experience in using, implementing, or supporting modern Supply Chain applications
  • Business level fluency in English, both spoken and written
  • Ability and willingness to travel across Europe is required
  • Right to live and work in the European Union

Job Description

As a Solution Architect you will be:

  • Leading implementation of Blue Yonder products, including ownership of end-to-end solution design
  • Working with customer business and IT teams during all project phases
  • Providing leadership to functional teams during implementation cycles
  • Serving as a functional and industry expert and participating in key meetings between Project Manager, key customer contacts, and customer users
  • Working closely with Product Management Department regarding specific trends for future product functionality/enhancements
  • Providing mentorship to junior associates within the Blue Yonder organization
  • Working with the pre-sales team to assess workload on a given project and recommend roles

Knowledge and Skills we are looking for:

Essential:

  • +8 years of industry experience in Supply Chain/Retail industry (e.g. Softline, Grocery, Wholesale, FMCG, CPG, etc.)
  • Very good understanding Category/Range/Display Management and Assortment concepts for retail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Hands-on experience in using, implementing, or supporting modern Supply Chain applications (BlueYonder/i2/Manugistics/JDA, SAP APO, Kinaxis, Infor, Logility, o9, Quintiq, or similar planning solution)
  • Business level fluency in English, both spoken and written
  • Ability and willingness to travel across Europe is required
  • Right to live and work in the European Union

Desirable:
