We are seeking an individual to join our Premium Applications team within the Customer Experience division. This individual will play a key role in helping the team build the next set of applications and accelerate our mission to make ordinary customer and employee experiences extraordinary. The role will report to the Executive Director of Software Development.
We are looking for a Sr Systems Analyst/ Product Owner who will:
Systems Analyst Responsibilities
- Develop functional system knowledge of the next set of Customer Experience solutions.
- Conduct independent research on system issues and potential solutions using SQL queries, data analysis, reviewing logs, system testing, and collaboration with developers and testers
- Lead Solution interactions w/ other technical teams including platform teams (DBAs, Networking, Security, etc) and partner application teams.
- Manage technical projects by working with partners to define success, determine approach, set milestones, and track execution and progress.
Product Owner Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Management to prioritize the product roadmap and champion the features which will provide the most value
- Serve as the voice of the customer for the team and approves overall solutions
- Consolidate requests, designs, and technical research to create well-defined and well documented requirements and acceptance criteria
- Define user stories, prioritize team backlog, and present new product stories in Iteration Planning
- Partner with other teams and clients to define, and flesh out solutions to complex business problems
- Document solutions and functionality for various, distinct audiences
- Break projects down into executable components based on dependencies
Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who:
- Have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- Have 5+ years of experience working in a professional software development environment
- Have 5+ years of experience working in an Agile / SAFe development environment and managing iteration-level deliverables
- Have proven experience documenting technical details such as data flow diagrams or system integrations as well as document functional requirements in terms of user acceptance criteria
- Have experience conducting technical analysis and research independently using SQL, log data, application testing, reviewing documentation, etc.
- Can work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Are proficient in English in a business environment
