Job Summary

Seeking a talented and motivated Strategic Development Manager to join Adobe's Digital Media Customer Strategy and Success team. This post-sales product specialist role focuses on driving customer success and adoption of emerging Digital Media solutions, particularly Acrobat Studio and Adobe Express, within large Enterprise advertising agencies and professional services organizations. The manager will lead enterprise demos, identify high-value use cases, partner with sales and product teams to develop customized solutions, and present strategic roadmaps to executive stakeholders, all while influencing product and go-to-market strategy.

Must Have

  • Act as a product and technical expert for Acrobat Studio and Adobe Express, leading enterprise demos, pilots, and proofs of concept.
  • Drive adoption, expansion, and standardization of Adobe emerging solutions across agency and professional services accounts.
  • Identify and develop high-value use cases across creative, marketing, sales, legal, and client services teams.
  • Partner with Customer Success Managers, Sales, and Product teams to develop customized end-to-end enterprise solutions.
  • Engage executive and technical stakeholders to present strategic roadmaps, ROI, and adoption strategies.
  • Capture customer insights to feed back to and influence product and go-to-market strategy.
  • At least five years of experience in a customer-facing role such as Solutions Consultant, Sales Engineer, or Technical Sales, and/or in a Product Management / Product Evangelism role.
  • Validated experience working in enterprise software and ability to grasp, adopt and teach new solutions quickly.
  • Strong ability to deliver engaging and persuasive software demonstrations both in-person and virtually.
  • Ability to employ an advisory approach to comprehend business gaps and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying intricate technical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Travel as required for the role, potentially making frequent trips (15% - 40% travel).
  • Ability to work independently, lead commitments, and deliver on deadlines successfully.

Good to Have

  • Extensive experience with Document Cloud and/or Creative Cloud solutions, including Adobe Acrobat Pro, Express, Acrobat AI Assistant, Photoshop / Creative Professional build apps, and/or other API solutions.
  • Deep understanding of roles and inner-workings of professional services organizations and/or large advertising firms, through use of emerging technologies including Artificial Intelligence.

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Strategic Development Manager to join our Digital Media Customer Strategy and Success team. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about emerging technologies involving digital documents, easy-to-use creative design tools, and Artificial Intelligence. As a post-sales product specialist, you will help drive customer success of our emerging Digital Media solutions within our largest Enterprise advertising agencies and professional services organizations. You will be responsible for managing the technical aspects of product enablement and adoption across specific customers, working closely with the assigned Customer Success Manager. You will play a pivotal role in helping our customers understand and leverage Adobe's enterprise software solutions, particularly within the advertising and professional services industries, with a focus on digital document transformation. A consultative approach, being comfortable engaging in strategic planning, solution development, technical business enablement, and process management, presenting and demoing to customers groups of all sizes, all while driving adoption of our emerging solutions will be the key to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a product and technical expert for Acrobat Studio and Adobe Express, leading enterprise demos, pilots, and proofs of concept.

  • Engage executive and technical stakeholders to present strategic roadmaps, ROI, and adoption strategies.
  • Capture customer insights to feed back to and influence product and go-to-market strategy

Minimum Requirements

  • Customer-Facing Experience: At least five years of experience in a customer-facing role such as Solutions Consultant, Sales Engineer, or Technical Sales, and/or in a Product Management / Product Evangelism role
  • Technical Competence: Validated experience working in enterprise software and ability to grasp, adopt and teach new solutions quickly.
  • Presentation Skills: Strong ability to deliver engaging and persuasive software demonstrations both in-person and virtually, to audiences of all titles and sizes. Compelling on-camera presence for virtual engagement with customers.
  • Consultative Approach: Ability to employ an advisory approach to comprehend business gaps and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying intricate technical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Travel Availability: Travel as required for the role, potentially making frequent trips. 15% - 40% travel.
  • Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, lead commitments, and deliver on deadlines successfully.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • Bonus Experience: Extensive experience with Document Cloud and/or Creative Cloud solutions, including Adobe Acrobat Pro, Express, Acrobat AI Assistant, Photoshop / Creative Professional build apps, Express, and/or other API solutions a bonus.
  • Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of roles and inner-workings of professional services organizations and/or large advertising firms, through use of emerging technologies including Artificial Intelligence a plus.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $125,500 -- $226,700 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

In New York, the pay range for this position is $156,500 - $226,700

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
