Job Summary
The Manufacturing Supervisor leads and oversees production teams to achieve company goals in UPH, LAR, DPPM, absenteeism, cost, and cycle time, focusing on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. - Communicate company policies, production goals, and operational updates.
- Maintain a safe, compliant, and organized workplace, adhering to company rules and EHS standards.
- Ensure compliance with QMS, EHS, ESD, and HR procedures.
- Apply and promote IMS policy.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and enforce proper PPE.
- Work collaboratively with Engineering, Quality, IE, and Maintenance teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or operations.
Good to Have
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and production tracking tools.
- Experience with digital tools like Power BI, MES systems, or basic automation concepts.
- Ability to work in shift.
- Growth mindset and can-do attitude.
- Experience in Electronic industry with 100+ subordinates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Broad Functions
- Lead and supervise production teams to achieve company goals in UPH, LAR, DPPM, absenteeism, cost, and cycle time, ensuring continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
- Allocate work priorities and resources effectively to meet production targets aligned with organizational objectives.
- Develop team skills, foster accountability, and ensure alignment with company culture and values.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve production issues and drive process improvement for efficiency and effectiveness.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities This job is responsible for delivering the organization outcome as stated:
1. Production Performance
- Monitor, analyze, and report production performance and departmental KPIs.
- Control WIP and output to ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Optimize manpower utilization to maximize productivity (UPH).
- Manage material usage efficiently to minimize waste and control cost.
2. Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Identify and escalate yield and quality issues for prompt corrective action.
- Drive improvement in LAR and DPPM to meet both internal and external customer expectations.
- Support and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and cycle time.
3. People Management
- Supervise and develop team members to ensure strong technical skills, work discipline, and alignment with company culture.
- Reduce and control employee absenteeism through engagement, motivation, and performance management.
- Communicate company policies, production goals, and operational updates effectively to subordinates.
4. Safety, Compliance & Governance
- Maintain a safe, compliant, and organized workplace, ensuring adherence to all company rules and EHS standards.
- Ensure compliance with QMS, EHS, ESD, and HR procedures.
- Apply and promote IMS policy to support organizational performance and compliance.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments (JSA/HIRAC), and enforce use of proper PPE.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with Engineering, Quality, IE, and Maintenance teams to resolve issues and drive process improvements.
- Participate in problem-solving and improvement projects to ensure smooth production flow and target achievement.
Authority
- Prepare Production planning: Planning for Daily Build Plan considering output rate, materials and manpower.
- Prepare Report for Safety and Quality concern:
- Anomaly or non-compliance in relation to Ethics and Compliance policies of the Company.
- Near-miss, good catch and work safety violations in relation to workplace health and safety regulations.
- Product / production irregularity, anomaly, defectives in relation to product quality assurance.
- Order subordinate to stop working when found unsafe condition then coordinate to relevant department to mitigate risk and immediately inform manager.
- People Management:
- Request/provide the proper training for the subordinate.
- Verify and approve disciplinary action to subordinate.
- Propose, review and approve overtime and attendance.
- Propose, review and approve Annual Compensation Review (ACR), Short Term Incentive (STI) and Onetime payment Award.
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical) or related fields such as Operations Management, Logistics, or Applied Sciences
- Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or operations; some leadership or team lead experience preferred
- Experience in Electronic industry with 100+ subordinates would be an advantage
PREFERRED:

SKILLS:
- Leadership & People Management: Ability to lead, coach, and motivate production teams toward performance excellence, while maintaining discipline, engagement, and teamwork across shifts.
- Production Planning & Execution: Strong understanding of production scheduling, resource allocation (manpower, materials, machines), and ability to adjust plans dynamically to meet daily and weekly targets.
- Quality & Continuous Improvement Mindset: Knowledge of quality control principles (LAR, DPPM, yield), and experience applying Lean / Kaizen / 5S to improve process efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance output.
- Safety, Compliance & Communication: Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment, enforcing EHS and company policies, and communicating clearly across teams and management levels.
