Job Summary
Unisys is seeking an IT professional to join a delivery team supporting Public Sector clients in the UK and Europe, specifically in the Justice, Law Enforcement and Border Security industry. This hands-on role involves assisting the Service Delivery team with services and projects, including bids and business initiatives. Responsibilities include monitoring and resolving incidents, fulfilling service requests, user account administration, performing daily checks, software installation, and supporting project management. Candidates must be eligible for UK Security Clearance and demonstrate a keen interest in IT Service Management.
Must Have
- Candidates must be eligible for, and will be required to obtain, Security Clearance for this post
- Must be a British Passport holder, and a resident of the UK for the past 3 years
- Monitor incoming incidents and service requests during duty hours
- Investigate and resolve incidents, fulfil service requests, ensure no SLA breaches
- Perform user account administration and data loading
- Perform daily checks, monitor operations dashboard, resolve issues and alerts
- Perform software installation, update, and testing
- Support the service and project management team in delivery of projects and services
- Liaise closely with Project Lead(s) to ensure project planning and service reporting is understood and accurate
- Provide project office administration support by maintaining project documents
- Calculate charges based on usage, issue invoices and ensure timely payment
- Effectively manage deliverables and dependencies in line with project and service schedules
- Produce service reports, status updates, and communicating project progress
- Act as an escalation point for support team members
- Develop and implement documented SOP's, change control procedures and Release Notes

Unisys are seeking an IT professional to work as part of a delivery team supporting Public Sector clients in the UK and Europe, particularly to the Justice, Law Enforcement and Border Security industry segment.
This is a hands-on role where we are looking for someone who will assist other members of the Service Delivery team in the delivery of services and projects, including bids and business initiatives.
The Role:
- Monitor incoming incidents and service requests during duty hours (extended business hours on a rota) take ownership or assign incidents to available team members.
- Investigate and resolve incidents, fulfil service requests, ensure no SLA breaches.
- User account administration and data loading.
- Perform daily checks, monitor operations dashboard, resolve issues identified and alerts.
- Perform software installation, update, and testing.
- Support the service and project management team in delivery of projects and services.
- Liaise closely with Project Lead(s) to ensure all project planning and service reporting is understood and accurate, and any risks and/or issues are highlighted.
- Provide project office administration support by maintaining project documents and other information in the project repository.
- Calculate charges based on usage, issue invoices and ensure timely payment.
- Take an active role in discussions about potential solutions and next steps.
- Effectively manage deliverables and dependencies in line with project and service schedules.
- Produce service reports, status updates, and communicating project progress.
- Act as an escalation point for support team members.
- Develop and implement documented SOP's, change control procedures and Release Notes.

- Providing second line support for bespoke applications
- Operating system platforms such as UNIX and Windows
- Databases, for example, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database and PostgreSQL
- Scripting in Windows and UNIX
