Job Summary

DDB Health is seeking an SVP, Strategy to lead strategic initiatives across multiple brands. This role requires a blend of strategic acumen and charisma, with a passion for uncovering novel insights and driving innovative ideas. The SVP will be a master communicator, capable of persuasively articulating strategic points of view. Key responsibilities include developing deep market, customer, and brand understanding, fostering collaboration, inspiring teams to elevate ideas, and managing interactive workshops. The ideal candidate will drive innovation in strategic tools and act as a Strategic Brand Steward.

Overview:

We’re looking for candidates who have a special blend of strategic acumen and charisma to lead teams and drive strategy across multiple brands. Passion for uncovering novel insights that generate innovative ideas is a must. But so is a desire to collaborate with teams to elevate the brands we work on. The ideal candidate will be a master communicator and presenter – able to communicate their strategic point of view in a persuasive manner. As established brand and agency leaders, they will be perceived as an essential team member (often referred to as the Strategic Brand Steward) across multiple internal and external partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive strategy across agency brands by deriving a deep understanding of the market, customer, competition, and brand, then helping translate this into a unique and motivating narrative.
  • Foster a collaborative environment around insights, strategic points of view, and brand ideas.
  • Challenge and inspire the team to elevate ideas and generate market-changing strategies.
  • Be a charismatic driver of strategic discussions and inspire team members to think more strategically, creatively, and omnichannel.
  • Manage the design and execution of interactive workshops and brainstorming sessions.
  • Drive innovation for development of new strategic tools to optimize the function of the strategy team.

Experience:

  • 10 years’ experience in pharmaceutical marketing and/or strategy consulting in pharmaceuticals/healthcare or pharmaceutical advertising agency experience
  • Strong presentation and moderation skills and exceptional PowerPoint storytelling capabilities.

The range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of an Omnicom Health Group company in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.

  • $195,000- $235,000
