This role involves managing tax matters for Caricam and Chile as a Tax Business Partner lead within Unilever's global tax team. The manager will be responsible for the full range of tax business partner matters, including overseeing a team of 5 FTE across multiple locations, approving tax returns and reporting, leading tax planning and defense, transfer pricing, implementing global projects, and managing Finflex forums and controls. The position reports to a Tax director and interacts with various stakeholders like CFO, controller, and legal.

JOB PURPOSE

This role exists to Managing tax matters in Caricam and Chile (One Unilever) as Tax Business Partner lead. You’ll be part of a global tax team that believes in doing work that matters.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Caricam (Costa Rica, Panama, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Puerto Rico, Trinidad & Tobago, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Cuba and Jamaica) and Chile Tax Manager role has responsibility for the full range of tax business partner matters and includes responsibility for managing a team of 5 FTE in multiple locations, including approving tax returns and reporting submitted by TaxUniops and third party supplier (FOT), leading with various tax functions supporting Tax planning and tax defense, Transfer Pricing, reporting, implementing global projects, leading Finflex forums and projects, and controls. The role reports into a Tax director with several stakeholders (CFO, controller, legal, business, TP tax business partners, etc) and is an excellent opportunity for career development within Tax.
