Must Have

• Support in preparing VAT returns and recapitulative statements
• Review invoices and processes for VAT aspects and document findings
• Research tax law questions and prepare information for the team
• Contribute ideas to projects for digitalization and automation of tax processes
• Assist with administrative tasks like data maintenance and document filing
• Opportunity to rotate through various specialist departments in Accounting & Controlling
• Good school leaving certificate (Fachabitur or Abitur)
• Interest in tax/finance
• Fluent German language skills

Responsibilities

As part of your studies, you will support daily business with tasks such as:

• You will assist in the preparation of VAT pre-registrations and recapitulative statements.
• You will check invoices and processes for VAT aspects and document your findings.
• You will research tax law questions and prepare information for the team.
• You will contribute your ideas to projects for the digitalization and automation of tax processes.
• You will help with administrative tasks such as data maintenance and document filing.
• Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to rotate through various specialist departments in Accounting & Controlling.

The theoretical part of the study will be conducted at IU (study program BWL – Accounting & Controlling or BWL - Steuerberatung) or iba (study program BWL - Finanzdienstleistungen) (please inform yourself which study program interests you).

What we need to see from you

Knowledge and Skills

• A good school leaving certificate (Fachabitur or Abitur) is available / will be achieved by the start of the study program.
• You are interested in the field of tax / finance and ideally already have initial contact through school or internships.
• You have fluent German language skills and feel comfortable with our corporate language (English) through good English skills.
• Your demeanor is positive, open, and friendly.
• You are familiar with common MS-Office applications.
• You are an organizational talent, committed, diligent, and reliable.
• You are enthusiastic, communicative, and enjoy working in a team.
• Quick comprehension and enjoyment of independent work complete your profile.
