Tech Lead, Infrastructure Supply Chain Platform

The Tech Lead, Infrastructure Supply Chain Platform will be responsible for backend development within ByteDance's infrastructure supply chain, building an end-to-end system for continuous delivery of infrastructure like data centers and servers. This involves designing and implementing critical modules for order fulfillment, supply chain planning, inventory, and logistics. The role also includes leading project delivery, optimizing system architectures, and managing team operations to enhance efficiency and scalability.

Must Have

• Responsible for backend development of ByteDance's infrastructure supply chain business.
• Design and implement critical modules for order fulfillment and supply chain middle-office businesses.
• Lead team to deliver business projects, abstract product components, and build technical capabilities.
• Ensure rationality of system architectures (technical and business) and drive continuous optimization.
• Manage team operations and task distribution, driving continuous improvement in engineering practices.
• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in development for Internet products or microservices.
• Strong technical foundation with in-depth knowledge of the Java technology stack and common frameworks.
• Proven track record of writing clean, maintainable code with good design patterns and coding standards.
• Ability to rapidly grasp new business domains and strong intuition for architectural design and engineering practices.
• Demonstrate strong team management capabilities to foster a harmonious and collaborative team culture.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Experienced in supply chain management for enterprises (e.g., demand forecasting, planning, SOP, production, procurement).
• Experienced in E-commerce order fulfillment management (e.g., OMS, WMS, e-commerce platform integration).

About the Team

As part of ByteDance's infrastructure platform, the Supply Chain Platform team is primarily responsible for providing a reliable, and user-friendly supply chain system, ensuring the continuous delivery of relevant infrastructure such as data centers, servers and so on. We are aiming to build an end-to-end business platform system, including multiple subsystems such as supply chain planning, procurement&inventory management, production&construction and logistics, which provide strong support for improving the department's operational efficiency and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the backend development work of ByteDance's infrastructure supply chain business, building an infrastructure-oriented supply chain system to support business development.
• Responsible for the design and implementation of critical modules within the technical systems for ByteDance's vertical industry order fulfillment and supply chain middle-office businesses. This encompasses, but is not limited to, order fulfillment management, supply chain planning, intelligent replenishment, cost management, and product lifecycle management, etc.
• Lead team to deliver business projects, abstract product components, and build technical capabilities. Ensure the rationality of system architectures (technical and business) and drive continuous optimization
• Manage team operations and task distribution, driving continuous improvement in engineering practices and cultivating technical leadership within the team

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 5 years of experience in development for Internet products or microservices
• Strong technical foundation with in-depth knowledge of the Java technology stack, and common frameworks
• Proven track record of writing clean, maintainable code with good design patterns and coding standards
• Ability to rapidly grasp new business domains and product requirements, and strong intuition for architectural design and engineering practices
• Demonstrate strong team management capabilities to foster a harmonious and collaborative team culture, boost morale, and drive high-performance outcomes
