Job Description

TransUnion is seeking a Full Stack Technical Lead Software Engineer for the Trusted Call Solutions Provisioning/Integration team. This role involves developing and delivering mission-critical services for voice and data applications to global carriers and enterprises. The engineer will work in a fast-paced DevOps environment, designing, developing, and maintaining scalable production-grade micro-services. Collaboration with product, engineering teams, clients, and partners is key to understanding use cases and implementing solutions with high code quality and automated CI/CD processes.

Good To Have:

Good familiarity with open-source development
Any hands-on experience with integrating open-source components into projects would be an advantage

Must Have:

Bachelor’s (B.S) or Master’s (M.S) degree in Computer Science or related field
Minimum 8+ years of software development experience
Minimum 5+ years of object-oriented design and object-oriented programming experience
Solid understanding of RESTful systems and principles of good API design
Proven experience in building and deploying production grade, highly scalable solutions based on cloud-native micro-services architecture
Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript
Experience with Spring framework including Spring boot, Spring batch, Spring Data
Experience building applications using UI frameworks like Angular/React and Webcomponents
Proven experience developing cloud native micro services with RDBMS, and/or NoSQL DB (MongoDB preferred)
Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, problem solving, algorithm design and analysis
Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain stateless micro-services in various environments using modern techniques of CI/CD
Contribute to improving best practices to deliver high quality solutions leveraging open source tools/toolkits and utilities with automated builds, tests and deployments
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional organizations
Follow Agile development methodology leveraging tools like GIT, JIRA, Teams, Incident Management
Create solution design documents for arch review, design review, customers including acceptance tests, RCA

The ideal engineer would be working in a fast-paced DevOps environment with an entrepreneurial mindset of solving real world problems by designing, developing and maintaining features, solutions and scalable production grade micro-services in collaboration with other product and engineering teams. The engineer will also work very closely with clients and partners to understand various use cases and real-world problems to solve them with the best design and code implementation following automated CI/CD process meeting highest levels of code quality targets.

What You'll Bring:

Contribute to improving best practices to deliver high quality solutions leveraging open source tools/toolkits and utilities with automated builds, tests and deployments
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional organizations including system architects, project managers, product managers and operations.
Follow Agile development methodology leveraging tools like GIT (SCM), JIRA (User Stories), Teams , Incident Management
Create solution design documents for arch review, design review, customers including acceptance tests, RCA ..etc
