Autodesk is seeking a Technical Program Manager for Computational Design and Automation to lead critical programs in the AECO sector. This role involves enhancing existing computational design methods with Agentic technologies and integrating them into products like Revit and Civil 3D. The manager will work with the core team to deliver existing and emerging products, focusing on advanced workflow automation. Must Have

  • Plan and ensure delivery by engaging with engineering leadership to build and refine delivery plans
  • Track multiple sprint cycles, refine plans, and communicate progress to stakeholders
  • Effectively lead diverse stakeholders to launch and manage innovative initiatives
  • Identify and mitigate risks, reduce waste, optimize delivery, and improve team satisfaction
  • Evaluate tradeoffs to balance competing project demands and optimize resource allocation
  • Enforce accountability and responsibility among project members for timely and quality deliverables
  • Lead communication efforts at all levels, ensuring team members are well-informed and engaged
  • Develop and maintain clear, transparent documentation to provide clarity and direction
  • Ensure team members have a clear understanding of their tasks, timelines, and methods
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams on complex initiatives
  • 3+ years of experience as a technical Program Manager, Project Manager or similar role

Technical Program Manager, Computational Design (Canada)

Position Overview

Autodesk is transforming the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Owner (AECO) sector by enhancing existing Computational Design and Automation methods with cutting-edge Agentic technologies, seamlessly integrating them into products such as Revit, Civil 3D, Construction Cloud, and Forma.

As the Technical Program Manager for Computational Design and Automation, you will lead critical programs to support the team’s mission of developing the next wave of Computational Design, Automation, and Agentic technologies across our AEC portfolio. You will work closely with the Director and Core Team responsible for delivering both existing (Dynamo ecosystem of tools) and emerging products, ensuring the integration of advanced workflow automation tools within Autodesk’s product suite and industry-specific cloud solutions.

We are looking for a dynamic individual with a background in enterprise software companies, who possesses solid technical expertise and business acumen, with the ability to impart a sense of urgency and influence your leaders and peers. You have a bias towards action, are a champion for pursuing business outcomes as opposed to performing development activities and are proactive in stakeholder management. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, are passionate about tackling and realizing complex customer challenges, excel in navigating ambiguity to find clarity, and can successfully organize and manage multiple priorities. Responsibilities

  • Identify and mitigate risks, reduce waste, optimize delivery, and improve team satisfaction with delivery process
  • Evaluate tradeoffs to balance competing project demands and optimize resource allocation
  • Enforce accountability and responsibility among project members to ensure timely and quality deliverables
  • Lead communication efforts at all levels, ensuring all team members are well-informed and engaged
  • Develop and maintain clear, transparent documentation to provide clarity and direction

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, an Engineering discipline, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams on highly complex initiatives involving multiple teams, in a fast-paced environment, using traditional and Agile methodologies
  • 3+ years of experience as a technical: Program Manager, Project Manager or similar role
