BetterMe is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join their Core teams, focusing on project management within DevOps (AWS, Terraform, Docker, AWS EKS, Prometheus, Grafana) and Backend (Microservices, PHP 8.2, Golang, NodeJS, React) domains. The role involves coordinating teams, planning tasks, managing priorities, aligning technical aspects with stakeholders, monitoring progress, and maintaining project documentation. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and capable of implementing improvements.

Must Have

• 3 years of experience in IT project management as a Technical Project Manager
• High level of organization, leadership qualities, and proactivity
• Analytical, systemic, and critical thinking
• Experience working with releases involving multiple teams simultaneously
• Understanding of the full SDLC and Secure SDLC cycle
• Experience with BPMN and ability to use tools for diagramming
• Knowledge and experience using Scrum/Kanban methodologies and classical project management principles
• Excellent communication skills
• English language at Intermediate level or higher

Good to Have

• Experience working on projects with stable releases and real users
• Experience working in a product company
• Basic understanding of clouds, components of complex systems (Backend, Frontend, infrastructure)
• Basic understanding of current legal challenges (GDPR/CCPA-CPRA)
• Basic understanding of security standards/certifications (PCI DSS/ISO27k)

About the team and role:

Core teams at BetterMe are involved in the development and support of key infrastructure and platform components, security and monitoring systems that ensure the functioning of other company systems and products. The area of responsibility will include project management in DevOps (AWS, Terraform, Docker, AWS EKS, Prometheus, Grafana) and Backend (Microservices, PHP 8.2, Golang, NodeJS, React) core teams.

Responsibilities:

• Coordination of teams and ensuring the completion of assigned tasks.
• Drawing up and maintaining detailed work plans, taking into account risks, dependencies, and deadlines. Creating a RACI matrix.
• Working with priorities: identification, communication, planning (internal and external with product teams).
• Alignment of technical aspects with architects, developers, technical management, and other stakeholders.
• Monitoring task progress, analysis, and reporting.
• Managing priorities and their alignment with other teams.
• Maintaining project documentation and technical requirements.
