The Technical Solutions Executive partners with Sales Executives to grow new business in the North Europe region (UK, Ireland, Nordics, Benelux) within the Design & Manufacturing industry. This role focuses on overseeing the technical relationship and strategy for accounts. Responsibilities include developing customer plans, building "trusted advisor" relationships, understanding industry trends, leading discovery activities to gather requirements, and presenting value propositions. The role involves working with various teams to ensure customer satisfaction and drive new business growth. Travel to customer and internal meetings may be required.
Must have:
  • 2+ years of experience in Presales/Technical Sales/Sales role
  • 5+ years working in or with the Design & Manufacturing industry
  • Knowledge of Autodesk solutions or similar technology solutions
  • Fluent in English, and any other Northern European language

Technical Solutions Executive Design & Manufacturing

Position Overview

The Technical Solutions Executive (TechSE) is a commercial technical role that partners with the Mid-Market Accounts Sales Executives to grow new business in the North Europe( UKI, Nordics, BeNeLux)) region in Design & Manufacturing (D&M) industry by overseeing the technical relationship and strategy for the accounts. You will foster long-term partnerships with our strategic customers by aligning the customer's business initiatives and technical goals with Autodesk's vision, mission, and strategy.

It is a hybrid position, based in Barcelona within the respective Technical Sales Team and will report to the Senior Manager, EMEA Inside Technical Sales. While most of the work is done remotely, you might be asked to travel occasionally to customer and internal meetings

Responsibilities

  • You will work with the Strategic Territory Sales Representatives and other pit-crew members to define a strategic customer plan and implement that plan
  • You will develop through joint and independent customer-facing activities your knowledge of customers' processes, workflows, goals and requirements to build "trusted advisor" relationships
  • Your understanding of the D&M industry, processes, technology trends and workflows will provide insight, stories and guidance required to inspire and excite accounts to differentiate us and gain acceptance that we are a long-term solution provider
  • You will lead discovery activity to capture requirements, goals and as-is processes to make business cases and use this information to qualify any opportunity and connect our solutions to business outcome value. You work with Solutions Engineers and Partners who use their knowledge to architect a technical solution based on your findings
  • You will develop and present a compelling value proposition with us to secure the Technical Win. Throughout the sales process you will inspire and excite customer through awesome presentations and stories
  • You will develop trusted working internal relationships with us to ensure customer satisfaction and new business growth

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in customer-facing Presales/Technical Sales/Sales role
  • 5+ years working in or with the Design & Manufacturing industry
  • Knowledge of Autodesk solutions such as Inventor, Fusion, Vault or Fusion Manage or knowledge of selling technology solutions from other SaaS or technology vendors
  • Fluent in English, and any other Northern European language
