Job Summary
Nasdaq is seeking an entry-level Video Editor for its in-house creative studio. The role involves elevating storytelling across video productions, working independently on projects from brief to completion, and producing high-quality video content for external websites, social channels, and various clients. The editor will operate in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with creative, marketing, sales, and executive teams to create engaging video content.
Must Have
- Work independently editing a variety of projects including, but not limited to, event sizzle reels, testimonials, multi-camera interviews, remote productions, video podcasts, recurring series and special projects.
- Follow guidelines and expectations for organized file management & archiving on a regular basis.
- Actively participate in creative brainstorms for new content and series, social media campaigns, and sponsorship initiatives.
- Source licensed music and stock media in accordance our brand style.
- Closely follow pre-built templates for recurring video series.
- Take existing videos and cut them down to various social platforms as needed, following strict guidelines for each.
- Support senior creative team as needed with project prep, research, and miscellaneous administrative tasks.
- Manage multiple projects in fast-paced corporate studio environment.
- Understand digital video strategy for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn.
- Strong reel or portfolio showcasing original editing work.
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Eager to learn – Having a positive attitude and amenable to a variety of tasks in order to gain real-world hands-on experience.
- Resourceful – Can problem solve independently to get tasks done in a timely manner, overcoming challenges along the way.
Good to Have
- After Effects experience & motion graphics experience is a huge plus.

Job Description
Nasdaq is looking for an entry-level Video Editor to join our in-house creative studio. You will be joining a team of self-starting creatives as we look to elevate the storytelling across our video productions. You will be working as part of a creative team as well as comfortable taking projects from brief through to completion yourself as required. The Video Editor will be responsible for helping the team produce high-quality video content optimized for our external web site, social channels, and more for our diverse portfolio of internal and external clients. Candidates should be able to operate in a fast-paced environment and work well with creatives, marketers, sales teams and executives to bring concepts to life with video. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player with a track record of creating exciting and engaging video content and an eagerness to learn more.
Responsibilities:

- Research and identify the latest creative video, technology and industry trends to improve skills.
- Follow guidelines and expectations for organized file management & archiving on a regular basis.
