Job Description

This Voice Provisioner position at Ness Romania SRL focuses on provisioning SIP and ISDN services for customer use and CXOne Mpower network infrastructure. The role involves configuring customer connectivity models, including SIP Trunking, Dedicated Circuits, and Number provisioning, by reviewing technical documents. Responsibilities include managing various voice orders, coordinating with customers for testing, troubleshooting, and collaborating with internal teams. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of telecommunications experience and strong technical knowledge in VOIP/SIP, network protocols, and related tools.
Must Have:
  • Provision SIP and ISDN services for customer use and CXOne Mpower network infrastructure.
  • Configure customer’s approved connectivity model including SIP Trunking, Dedicated Circuits and Number provisioning.
  • Review completed TQ’s and all pertaining documents to determine appropriate build/configuration.
  • Accept direction from management and senior engineers to complete assigned tasks.
  • Document order status in detail and communicate to internal and external teams with professionalism and expedience.
  • Manage New, Move, Add, Change and Disconnect orders for dedicated voice (SIP), Dedicated Circuits (MPLS, COLOCATION) and Inbound (Toll Free, DID: local and international) orders.
  • Verify Connectivity TQ's and all pertaining documents for accuracy and appropriate build/configuration.
  • Coordinate with customers to schedule and complete test and turn up calls, including capturing call records.
  • Troubleshoot and make necessary changes during test and turn up calls if unsuccessful.
  • Interface regularly with other internal CXOne Mpower departments such as COGS team.
  • RespOrg/port In and Out, route and provision inbound number services to the NICE CX network.
  • Work with Voice Engineering teams on Media Server builds and associated troubleshooting.
  • Communicate with customers, carriers, vendors and employees, ensuring all related systems are documented.
  • Perform pretesting with LECs and Vendors if required.
  • Perform quality assurance audits and take responsibility for errors.
  • Perform oral and written knowledge transfer and training to technical team members and stakeholders.
  • Work in a rapid-paced environment, multi-tasking daily, creatively problem solve and adapt to change.
  • Follow the company Code of Ethics and CXOne Mpower policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with customers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years experience in telecommunications.
  • Experience with T1, DS3, OC3, OC12 install and test.
  • Knowledge of VOIP/SIP, TLS, Dedicated Circuit such as MPLS, Colocation, and Inbound Number Provisioning.
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP, TLS, BGID, Routers, Switches, Hubs, Firewalls, Domains, DNS, DHCP and subnetting.
  • Command level knowledge Empirix, Wireshark, Ribbon Analytics.
  • Previous experience with configuring SBCs.
  • Proven track record of excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.

Requirements and responsibilities

This position's primary purpose is to provision SIP and ISDN services for customer use and CXOne Mpower network infrastructure. The Voice Provisioner will configure the customer’s approved connectivity model which can include SIP Trunking, Dedicated Circuits and Number provisioning. This individual will be tasked with reviewing completed TQ’s and all pertaining documents to determine appropriate build/configuration. This individual will accept direction from management and senior engineers to complete assigned tasks, document order status in detail and communicate to internal and external teams with professionalism and expedience.

What you’ll do

  • New, Move, Add, Change and Disconnect orders for dedicated voice (SIP), Dedicated Circuits (MPLS, COLOCATION) and Inbound (Toll Free, DID: local and international) orders.
  • Verifies Connectivity TQ's and any and all pertaining documents for accuracy and to determine appropriate build/configuration per product/request.
  • Coordinate with the customer to schedule and complete test and turn up calls, which includes capturing call records.
  • During test and turn up call if calls are not successful troubleshoot and make any necessary changes for accurate and completion of build. Including reaching out to other teams as necessary.
  • Interfaces regularly with other internal CXOne Mpower departments such as COGS team: Carrier builds, Carrier testing, Carrier CAC Increase/Decrease, Carrier Disconnects.
  • RespOrg/port In and Out, route and provision inbound number services to the NICE CX network through internal and external carrier systems for Local and International Toll Free and DID’s.
  • Works with Voice Engineering teams on Media Server builds and any associated troubleshooting issues.
  • Communicates with customers, carriers, vendors and employees, and ensures all related systems are documented in detail.
  • Performs pretesting with LECs and Vendors if required.
  • Performs quality assurance audits and takes responsibilities for errors.
  • Perform both oral and written knowledge transfer and training to technical team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Works in a rapid paced environment, multi-tasking daily, and be able to creatively problem solve and adapt to change and difficult situations.
  • May be required to work nights, evenings and weekends.
  • Follows the company Code of Ethics and CXOne Mpower policies and procedures at all times.
  • Communicate in an effective and professional way with customers in and outside of CXOne Mpower.

What you’ll bring
