Job Description

As a Working Student AI in the Security Systems Team at Axel Springer, you will work at the intersection of security and innovation. You will help drive the use of AI technologies to improve internal processes, share knowledge, and establish modern working methods within the security organization. This role involves supporting the introduction of AI applications, managing internal chatbots, promoting AI understanding, analyzing tools, and assisting with project meetings and presentations.

Must Have:
  • Studying in a relevant field (e.g., economics, communication, IT, security management or similar)
  • At least two remaining semesters until graduation

  • Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
  • Analytical thinking and enjoyment in trying out new tools and working methods
  • Strong communication skills, team spirit, and the ability to explain complex topics simply
  • Independent, structured way of working
  • High reliability and discretion in handling sensitive information

What you will move with us:

  • You support the introduction of AI applications in the security environment, e.g., for process automation or data analysis.
  • You manage an internal chatbot, for example, and collect feedback to improve the user experience.
  • You help generate enthusiasm for new technologies with creative formats and promote AI understanding.
  • You analyze and evaluate existing tools and systems to identify optimization potential.
  • You collect feedback from the teams and prepare it so that AI solutions continuously improve.
  • You participate in project meetings and support the preparation of presentations and short status reports.

What you bring:

  • You are studying in a relevant field, e.g., economics, communication, IT, security management or similar.
  • You have at least two remaining semesters until graduation.
  • You have a strong interest in artificial intelligence, digitalization, and current market trends – technical expert knowledge is an advantage.
