Working Student – Data Research

Mendix is seeking a curious and data-driven Working Student for Data Research within the Business Platforms team. This role involves exploring data to identify improvement potential for productivity and revenue. Responsibilities include data exploration, pattern detection, translating findings into recommendations, collaborating on implementations, and supporting ad-hoc data research for Sales and Marketing. It's an entry-level role combining technical research, data analysis, and business insight, offering hands-on experience in business-critical data environments.

Must Have

• Perform data exploration and pattern detection across operational and commercial datasets
• Identify improvement potential for productivity, quality or revenue gains
• Translate findings into concrete recommendations and automation ideas
• Collaborate with Application Operations to implement improvements
• Support ad-hoc data research for Sales and Marketing empowerment
• Enrolled in a technical or data-related study program (Informatics, Data Science, Econometrics etc.)
• Solid skills in Python (pandas, NumPy, API work)
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently
• Fluent in English

Good to Have

• Familiar with data visualization tools such as Power BI

• Enrolled in a technical or data-related study program (Informatics, Data Science, Econometrics etc.)

• Familiar with data visualization tools such as Power BI (plus)
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently
• Fluent in English
