Job Description

This working student position involves supporting innovation and prototyping for parking systems at Valeo in Bietigheim-Bissingen. Key tasks include assisting with prototype vehicle construction (hardware/software/system), conducting test drives and functional tests for driving and parking functions, installing, commissioning, and calibrating sensors, and programming gateways for signal conversion between bus systems like Ethernet, CAN, and Flexray. The role requires enrolled students in technical fields with enthusiasm for driver assistance systems and programming skills, ideally in Python.

Prior knowledge in AI/ML and GenAI

Must Have:

Support in prototype vehicle construction (hardware/software/system)
Support for test drives and functional tests for driving and parking functions
Installation, commissioning, and calibration of sensors
Programming of gateways (Vector, Ixxat, Technica) for signal conversion between bus systems (e.g., Ethernet, CAN, Flexray)
Documentation and presentation of completed work
Enrolled students in technical fields like electrical engineering, vehicle technology, computer science, physics
Enthusiasm for driver assistance systems
Knowledge in at least one programming language (e.g., Python)
Good language skills in German and English

Enthusiasm for driver assistance systems
Independent working style, reliability, initiative, flexibility
Knowledge in at least one programming language (e.g., Python)
Good language skills in German and English
Prior knowledge of AI/ML and GenAI is an advantage
