Job Description
- Manage workplace operations (janitorial, building maintenance, pest control, kitchen/pantry equipment).

- 8+ years experience in workplace services, with commercial kitchen/pantry equipment knowledge.
- Understand structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical systems for food service.
- Strong professional network in workplace services and hospitality.
- Expertise managing third-party vendors and service partners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Fluent in English and Cantonese.
About the position
We are looking for an experienced Workplace Services and Experience Manager to help manage our workplace operations, including (but not limited to) janitorial, building maintenance, pest control, kitchen equipment and pantry equipment across our cafes and food service areas, ensuring optimal performance and uninterrupted operations.
Our office environment has diverse operational and design needs. You’ll liaise with the parties involved in designing, building and managing our amenity spaces, including our food service operators, consultants, architects, engineers, project managers, facilities managers, equipment suppliers and manufacturers, to ensure those needs are met with the right solutions.
When new spaces are built, you’ll be involved in the construction process—from demolition through punch list and operation—and manage our ongoing maintenance programme and vendor partners to maintain operational excellence and sanitation standards.
Additional responsibilities of the role will include:
- Budget planning and managing vendors, contractors and external suppliers to ensure quality service delivery and value for money
- Coordinating equipment deliveries, inspections, installations and commissioning with appropriate teams across Jane Street
- Mentoring and leading a team (including outsourced providers) to deliver excellent service
- Proactively identifying and resolving workplace issues and challenges
- Creating and supporting a positive, inclusive and vibrant workplace culture that encourages relationships and supports employee wellbeing
About you
- Have 8+ years of experience in a workplace services environment (with knowledge of commercial kitchen and pantry equipment)
- Critical thinker with a practical understanding of structural, mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems specific to food service environments
- Have a strong professional network in the workplaces services and hospitality industry and expertise managing third-party vendors and service partners
- Flexible and reliable team player who can work the occasional early morning and evening hours (with some notice)
- Excellent written and verbal communicator; can speak comfortably in a large group
- Take a hands-on, highly collaborative approach to your work
- Fluent in English and Cantonese
