Job Description

Epsilon is seeking a Business Systems Analyst 2 (BSA 2) to be a subject matter expert for a major Loyalty program. This role involves acting as a key liaison among business partners, IT/Development teams, and analytics groups. The BSA 2 will deliver and optimize customer promotions and loyalty functionality by managing offer configurations, maintaining reporting processes, ensuring data integrity, and supporting testing and validation efforts. The ideal candidate is diligent, highly organized, technically adept, and thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Configure and deploy special promotions by setting technical criteria, segmenting audiences, and managing content and imagery.
  • Generate performance reports and pull data to support campaign targeting and strategy using client-specified tools.
  • Act as a platform domain expert, responding to inquiries, solving issues, and providing solutions.
  • Perform rigorous quality control checks on offers and reports.
  • Proof customer-facing website content for accuracy and quality.
  • Collaborate with client IT teams to propose and implement efficiencies or system enhancements.
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Create and manage test data and promotional scenarios in UAT environments.
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date process documentation and training materials.
  • Complete external campaign data matching and deliver targeted marketing data requests.
  • Support personalization of marketing efforts through customized data and reporting.
  • Ability to work with Excel and/or SQL to manipulate data, generate reports, and support campaign execution.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstrable ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Deep technical aptitude with an understanding of both business and IT language.
  • High level of initiative, accountability, and ownership.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills with partner collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and within multi-functional teams.
  • Solid problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing needs.

Overview

This role acts as a key liaison among business partners, IT/Development teams, and analytics groups. The BSA 2 will play a pivotal role in delivering and optimizing customer promotions and loyalty functionality by managing offer configurations, maintaining reporting processes, ensuring data integrity, and supporting testing and validation efforts.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and deploy special promotions by setting technical criteria, segmenting audiences, and managing content and imagery across web and email platforms.
  • Use client-specified tools to generate performance reports and pull data to support campaign targeting and strategy.
  • Act as a platform domain expert; respond to inquiries, solve issues, and provide solutions based on a deep understanding of the program and data.
  • Perform rigorous quality control checks on offers and reports, both individually and collaboratively.
  • Proof customer-facing website content for accuracy and quality.
  • Collaborate with client IT teams to propose and implement efficiencies or system enhancements.
  • Work with development teams to translate business needs into technical requirements and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Create and manage test data and promotional scenarios in UAT environments.

  • Previous experience with loyalty programs or automotive industry is a plus.

Compensation Range: $54,910 - $72,300 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
