Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, seeking a Director, Global Compensation Delivery to lead the implementation and administration of compensation programs globally. This role involves leading a team, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of core compensation processes like annual reviews, equity programs, and M&A integration. The Director will drive operational excellence, collaborate with COEs and IT, and ensure global compliance, contributing to Salesforce's mission of driving customer success through AI and innovation.
Must Have:
  • Lead the end-to-end execution and delivery of all global compensation programs.
  • Manage, mentor, and coach the compensation delivery team members.
  • Oversee all compensation program operations, including eligibility determination, data validation, reporting, and supporting employee communications.
  • Collaborate closely with Compensation Design, People Services, and IT to ensure HRIS and other systems effectively support compensation planning.
  • Drive process redesign and delivery mechanism improvements.
  • Act as a key escalation point and decisive leader for all compensation delivery issues.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all legal, regulatory, and internal audit requirements.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in compensation or total rewards.
  • Minimum of 3+ years in a people management role.
  • Proven experience managing the delivery or operations of complex compensation processes across multiple countries or regions.
  • Strong working knowledge of compensation tools and HRIS platforms; deep expertise with Workday is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and effectively drive stakeholder alignment.
  • Excellent analytical, communication (written and verbal), and project management skills.

The Total Rewards Delivery Team is the operational engine behind our organization’s Total Rewards strategy. As the Director, Compensation Delivery, you will serve as a critical leader, driving the implementation and administration of our compensation programs across global markets.

You will lead a team of compensation program managers and analysts, and partner closely with Total Rewards Centers of Excellence (COEs), People Services, IT, Rewards and HR Business Partners. Your primary goal will be to ensure the timely, accurate, and efficient delivery of all core compensation processes, including annual compensation reviews, equity programs, promotions, and M&A integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership & Execution: Lead the end-to-end execution and delivery of all global compensation programs, including base pay, short- and long-term incentives, and annual planning cycles.
  • Team Development: Manage, mentor, and coach the compensation delivery team members, providing clear guidance, professional development, and performance management.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee all compensation program operations, including eligibility determination, data validation, reporting, and supporting employee communications.
  • System & Process Partnership: Collaborate closely with Compensation Design, People Services, and IT to ensure HRIS and other systems (e.g., Workday) effectively support compensation planning and maintain data accuracy.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive process redesign and delivery mechanism improvements to enhance operational efficiency and elevate the employee experience.
  • Issue Resolution: Act as a key escalation point and decisive leader for all compensation delivery issues and critical resolutions.
  • Global Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all legal, regulatory, and internal audit requirements across all global markets.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in compensation or total rewards, with a minimum of 3+ years in a people management role.
  • Global Operations: Proven experience managing the delivery or operations of complex compensation processes across multiple countries or regions.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong working knowledge of compensation tools and HRIS platforms; deep expertise with Workday is required.
  • Leadership & Influence: Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and effectively drive stakeholder alignment across all levels of the organization.
  • Core Skills: Excellent analytical, communication (written and verbal), and project management skills.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $177,600 to $257,600.
