Field Equipment Assistant - CSE
Location: Sumaré Region
Modality: 100% in-person
Travel: 90% of the time
Mission of the Role
Responsible for the maintenance, support, installation, startup, and commissioning of automated and remotely controlled chemical dosing equipment to ensure the safety and effectiveness of Buckman's applications for its clients in Latin America.
Main Responsibilities:
Equipment Installation
- Ensure that the equipment to be installed complies with the schematic drawings provided.
- Install equipment in accordance with Buckman's safety policies.
- Coordinate any third parties involved in equipment installation.
- Meet installation deadlines defined jointly with sales and the client.
- Keep installation costs within budget.
- Responsible for drawing, flowcharts, and technical material to support applications.
Equipment Startup and Commissioning
- Obey all client SHE requirements when working on equipment startup and commissioning.
- Document all startup and commissioning steps and communicate them clearly to the client and Buckman's sales team.
- Obey all procedures in the equipment startup and commissioning manual.
- Responsible for training clients on the operation of installed equipment and systems.
- Responsible for preparing the equipment operation manual and delivering it to the client.
- Responsible for visiting clients to audit operating equipment.
- Responsible for making follow-up visits to clients and third parties when Buckman systems are installed.
Maintenance and Break-Fix
- Visit clients to perform maintenance on Buckman dosing systems.
- Respond to emergency sales calls in a timely manner.
- Coordinate and plan maintenance with third parties.
- Evaluate third-party work and ensure maintenance was done correctly.
- Audit equipment post-maintenance.
- Ensure that all equipment maintenance procedures have been followed.

Minimum requirements to apply for the position
- Degree in Electrical / Chemical / Automation or Mechanical Engineering;
- 2 to 3 years of experience in the area.
- Basic SAP knowledge.
- Experience working with equipment installation on client sites.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in dosing system maintenance.
- Knowledge of IoT and Digital Systems.
- Knowledge of process control systems/PLC.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Advanced Excel and Office tools required.
- Good communication and influencing skills.
- Computer skills (MS Office, Business Intelligence Software).
