Mimecast is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Global Associate Benefits Analyst to join its HR team. This role involves collaborating with business and HR leaders worldwide to manage and administer employee benefits programs across multiple regions, ensuring consistency and compliance with local regulations. The analyst will support all Benefits and Wellness initiatives across Mimecast’s global footprint (14+ countries), delivering excellent HR support, assisting with day-to-day operations, and working closely with benefits providers and HRIS systems. The successful candidate thrives in a collaborative, multicultural team environment and is passionate about leading innovation in benefits.

Must Have:
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, retirement, and voluntary fringe benefits, with a focus on global consistency and local compliance.
  • Assist with day-to-day operations such as invoicing, eligibility verification, audits, vendor management, and employee questions.
  • Work closely with benefits providers and brokers to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Collaborate with HRIS systems (Workday) to maintain up-to-date and accurate employee benefits data.
  • Assist with employee leave programs including maternity/paternity leave, FMLA, short-term disability, and other statutory leaves.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to leave management.
  • Oversee/direct the administration of COBRA compliance.
  • Design, implement, and manage comprehensive wellness programs.
  • Develop and distribute communication materials to educate employees on available benefits.
  • Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations affecting employee benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, filing required reports as necessary.
  • Assist in preparing data for annual compliance testing and audits.
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing the annual open enrollment process for US, UK, and RSA employee benefits.
  • Support financial benefits administration and the education of employees so that saving and retirement vehicles are maximized.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 0-2 years of experience in benefits administration preferably in a global, matrixed company.
  • Experience managing relationships with external partners and benefits vendors.
  • Systems savvy and experience with Workday, MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical skills, sound judgment and proven problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with HR and Benefit market, trends and best practices as well as current regulations.
  • Project management skills.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and administering employee benefits programs across multiple regions, ensuring consistency and compliance with local regulations. The Global Associate Benefits Analyst will report to the Senior Manager of Global Benefits. The successful candidate thrives in a collaborative, multicultural team environment, loves accountability, possesses strong communication skills, is passionate about leading innovation in benefits, and stays on top of Total Rewards best practices globally. This role provides career growth for benefits talent who will have the following key goals to lead as part of the global HR agenda! This role can be done part time in office and part time virtual, with a flexible work schedule.

What you’ll Do

As our Global Associate Benefits Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting all Benefits and Wellness initiatives across Mimecast’s global footprint (14+ countries). You will deliver excellent HR support to business units in multiple countries and regions. The primary duties include the following:

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, retirement, and voluntary fringe benefits, with a focus on global consistency and local compliance.
  • Assist with day-to-day operations such as invoicing, eligibility verification, audits, vendor management, and employee questions.
  • Work closely with benefits providers and brokers to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Conduct regular reviews of vendor performance, addressing any issues and seeking opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with HRIS systems (Workday) to maintain up-to-date and accurate employee benefits data.
  • Partner with HR-Ops and Workday team to ensure data accuracy, sensitivity and efficiency in all file feeds and processes.
  • Assist with employee leave programs including, maternity/paternity leave, FMLA, short-term disability, and other statutory leaves.
  • Collaborates cross functionally with payroll, human resource business partners, legal, finance.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to leave management.
  • Oversees/directs the administration of COBRA compliance.
  • Design, implement, and manage comprehensive wellness programs that address physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
  • Conceptualize, plan, and execute a variety of wellness events and activities.
  • Develop and distribute communication materials to educate employees on available benefits.
  • Responsible for keeping internal benefit pages and slack channels updated with the latest benefits information.
  • Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations affecting employee benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, filing required reports as necessary.
  • Assist in preparing data for annual compliance testing and audits.
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing the annual open enrollment process for US, UK, and RSA employee benefits.
  • Support financial benefits administration and the education of employees so that saving and retirement vehicles are maximized.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Experience in the technology industry is desirable but not mandatory

The US base salary range for this position is $55,000 - $75,000 base + bonus + benefits. This reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. This position may also be eligible for bonus, and other related benefits.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. These factors and individual capabilities will also determine the individual pay offered.
