We are seeking an experienced and talented Healthcare & Protection Consultant / Senior Healthcare & Protection Consultant to join our Corporate consulting team at Mercer Marsh Benefits. This is a hybrid role requiring at least three days a week in the London or Chichester office. You will maintain and develop a portfolio of Corporate Healthcare and Protection clients by providing quality consulting advice and ongoing service, ensuring profitable revenue and expanding business lines.

We are seeking an experienced talented Healthcare & Protection Consultant / Senior Healthcare & Protection Consultant to join our Corporate consulting team at Mercer Marsh Benefits. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week out of the office.

As a Healthcare & Protection Consultant you will maintain and develop a portfolio of Corporate Healthcare and Protection clients by providing quality consulting advice and ongoing service.

We will count on you to:

  • Ensure that revenue from this portfolio is profitable and to expand business lines and service delivery where appropriate
  • Manage and develop strong client relationships and win new business.
  • Work collaboratively and pro-actively with internal teams to deliver client expectations in line with agreed client account plans
  • Identify business opportunities from your client portfolio and your own network
  • Provide a service compliant with all procedures and Mercer Code of Professional Conduct and the FCA
  • Work with your assigned support team to ensure the delivery of services to each client in line with Mercer standards

What you need to have:

  • Financial and Commercial acumen (including fee negotiation skills)
  • Good organisational skills
  • Previous Healthcare and/or Protection related experience
  • Proven consulting and relationship management skills
  • Good technical, product and process knowledge
  • Good inter-personal, communication and time management skills
